God demonstrated His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us ... being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. Romans 5:8 & 9
It seems they are slower to arrive when mailed directly from SU! rather than your demo mailing it to you. It is definitely a great exercise in patience to wait for the new catalog! I am a demo and chose not to look at it online, so I had to wait a month before receiving the hard copy. I was so excited about the new colors that my youngest daughter and I spent a good chunk of Saturday reorganizing my cardstock to create spaces for them. I really love this catalog.
Could someone post or pm a picture of the Ronald McDonald House set for this year? I won't get my catalog until Sunday and I'm desperate (I recently lost my nephew to cancer and RMH is one of the charities for his memorial).

There isn't one in this catalog. I didn't get to go to OnStage in April, but it was announced there as to why. I think they are still donating to RMHC, but in a different way that they will announce soon. Someone feel free to correct/clarify me!!
I got mine yesterday. And while I loved looking at it and getting some fresh ideas, I was pretty underwhelmed. But for me that's a good thing. I already have so much stuff something would have to be pretty fabulous for me to want it. I do want to get the set with the vases, and the coordinating punch. That could be really fun and versatile.
Got mine on the 13th, I think. I like a decent amount of stuff in it. As demos are starting to post samples I'm getting a clearer sense of what I do & don't like.
Rooted in Nature is a favorite. Also love the set with the octopus.

im so sorry for your loss.
SU is ending its formal relationship with RMH in favor of broadening its reach by encouraging everyone to serve as their heart and passion dictates. Theyre having an annual day of service, including service in all incentive trips (this year collecting backpacks for Alaska make-a-wish and Puget Sound big bros & sisters), and there will be a special limited time promotion or product where a percentage of the proceeds will be donated to a cause (one charity each in N. America, South Pacific and Europe). They will attend 14 demo organized philanthropic events.
I received my catalog about a week ago. I have enjoyed looking through it but my budget is quite snug this summer. I almost wish I had not looked because I'm a little bit sad about not being able to buy as much as I would like!
One thing I really like is the new collection of sentiments that are in more updated fonts. I have some birthday and thank you stamps I have been using so long and I really would like to freshen up my collection. I may have to try selling a few stamps sets to make room for new ones, both in my cabinet and in my budget.
My demo showed me a new ink pad and it was really hard to open. It seemed extra tight or something. Hopefully it is an exception and not the rule. If arthritic hands struggle with the new style, it won’t be good news. I know she did and she has trouble with her hands. Someone please tell me your experience is better!

A tip I've read is to rub a piece of waxed paper along the track or even a piece of old candle to help it slide easier. The demo in this you tube says the more the ink pad is opened, the easier it will be. The tip for using wax is about the 3:20 mark.

New SU CATALOG!!!!!! This has been one of my favorite summer hobbies! Sit by the pool and DREAM! All the amazing card ideas I get just by reading the catalog! I am always on a tight budget because of my busy household(kids)! I WISH all of the sets came in photopolymer. I am so excited I can't wait.... I did ordered the stamparatus June 1st. YAY....YAY!!!! I think this new catalog is a slam dunk! Great job SU!
For those that have used both old (from the recently retired catalog) and new style inkpads which is easier to open? I don't usually have issues with the old style so I am concerned that the new style won't be an improvement (at least for me).
Love a lot of items in the new catalog! One thing I wish is that the markers were sold “individually “ even if for a limited time. If you are like me and kept up with color family changes and additions - only 10 of the colors are brand new. I hate to spend 48.00 on the new marker colors “collection” if I already have 6 of them. In general - What if one or two dry out - we can’t replace them without buying the WHOLE collection. Other than that - I love the new catalog!
I do like some of the new colors. I was expecting a "wowzer" of a catalog since this is the 30th year. I was hoping I would need to take out a loan to buy dozens of stamp sets. :] Several nice sets, but not sure if I'll buy any. I like that ink colors and paper match. But since their paper is expensive I will look on the secondary market.
There stamps sets and stamp bundle. I like but can't get them all? What is your method narrow you order down? I have long listed and I can't decide what I like don't like any tips narrowing the listed down The bundles are kill me. Thanks Linda

Bundles that can be used for several themes to go to the top of my list. For example Lily Pad has pieces that could be used for several themes and the banner dies used on any project. Same for Tropical Chic.
