It's the last Tuesday of the month, so it's Tickle a Teapotter time, and we are going to sing... ...sing a song
Sing out loud
Sing out strong
Sing of good things not bad
Sing of happy not sad Sing, sing a song
Make it simple to last
Your whole life long
Don't worry that it's not
Good enough for anyone
Else to hear
Just sing, sing a song...
CHALLENGE:Make a card inspired by any song - but be sure to tell us which song inspired you, so that we can sing along. It can be one of your favourite songs, it can be one to inspire and encourage whoever you send it to, it can be any song you like.
DESTINATION STATION:

Do you know someone that could use some well wishes, encouragement or all around warm fuzzies? Consider nominating them as a guest of honor (a.k.a. destination station) for an upcoming tea party. Post your request HERE or send a PM to jacqueline.
"I Love Paris" will be along soon - I was having trouble deciding whether to add a heart to it or not.
This is the front of my City of New Orleans card - no relation to the inside, but a song in its own right. Way back when I was 19, 20 I used to do some Saturday baking for the local YW, the odd bit of housework if they were stuck, and occasional baby-sitting. They had a good collection of vinyl LPs, including several Scripture in Song. Hearing this brings back memories of the peaceful cool stillness in the house when I was baby-sitting.
This isn't a great video because it was a gig at an indoor Saturday market with a low time ceiling and poor acoustics, but here are DH and his friend performing City of New Orleans:
I finally decided on my song while I was at the gym! I was listening to music and a Beatles song came on...and I thought , hmm..The Beatles have so many songs, surely there's one I can illustrate on a card. And then I found this digi stamp set and it had a Beatles lyric as one of the sentiments..perfect! Here it is:
Guess I'm number 14.
Here's my card - I made it thinking of a song that means a lot to me, and saw 2 songs in this card. Any guesses?
And I forgot to post that I have Wasabi tape inside this card.
Sign-up thread link below...please don't sign up on this thread
Please see HERE for the sign-up thread, or follow the link in the first post in this thread. I'll try to pick up those who have signed on here, but in general I create the spreadsheet for the draw by working down the names on the official sign-up thread.
Fun challenge Sabrina! I typically don’t choose country music as my first choice, however the words to this ballad speaks volumes and thought was fitting for my card. Wildflower by Lv2grdn - at Splitcoaststampers
