Today we are "Dying For Words" (or, more correctly-- die-ing!). Our technique today is to make a word, using a word die, the focus of your project. Alternate: No dies? Use a word stamp or alphabet to create your focus.
Your die should be the main focal point for your design; the largest part of your project. Just "using a word" itself does not fulfill the challenge. Make it stand out!
Great challenge! I went with a cute folded card from a stamping friend- believe it's a double gate fold- adding my own vintage style border and dry embossed panel- would be suitable for a masculine card recipient- here's simple thanks

Just finished our 2018 local yarn shop hop in the greater Seattle area- 26 stores in 3 days for my DD and I- lots of memories made! I wanted to commemorate this journey with a tie die/grunge card- rubbed my "hi" vintage style oval sentiment panel in purple ink- and added a tag topper with 2 purple ribbons. Here's Seattle grunge

I did use a die-cut word, but then removed it - hope that's OK. Since I have a day off tomorrow I reckoned that with only the floors left to wash, I could take a break from the housework and make this to send to someone dealing with a couple of "life" issues.
Here is my Make A Wish card for this fun challenge!
I don't have very many word dies, but it's good to be reminded to use them!

Finally getting my card uploaded for this challenge. It was so fun to find a reason to use one of my big, clunky, rarely used word dies. Thanks for the fun challenge!
I have two focal points, both made golden foil spritzed with metallic vintage copper spritzing...the Earth globe and the WORD sentiment..."happy birthday."
