Splitcoaststampers.com - the world's #1 papercrafting community
You're currently viewing Splitcoaststampers as a GUEST. We pride ourselves on being great hosts, but guests have limited access to some of our incredible artwork, our lively forums and other super cool features of the site! You can join our incredible papercrafting community at NO COST. So what are you waiting for?
Today we are going to visit Vineyard Marketplace for our inspiration. I believe this store is going to inspire us in more ways than one! One of the items sold on this site is toy animals made from recycled flip flops! You might want to check out this inspiring video before you browse the site for creative ideas!
How to Play ~ Click the link to the site we have chosen for this week's inspiration. Take inspiration from a photo that grabs your eye, it could be the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own.Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
For those that don't enjoy browsing through a large site, I have uploaded several of my favorite photos for your inspiration. Click on the images below to see them bigger and to get their links on SCS. Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining us on this inspiration journey.

NEED HELP GETTING A LINK TO YOUR INSPIRATION PICTURE?
If you are unable to grab the link of your chosen picture, (on some sites, you can't, it only gives a link to the whole collection), hover over the picture in the collection that you want to link to. On a windows machine, right click the picture (on a Mac, 2 finger click). When the options come up, select COPY IMAGE ADDRESS. This link will be for that picture.
A simple one from me, I shot this as the sun was going down streaming through the window behind where I shoot things and it changed the colors a little.

Angie- an amazing site, thank you! I was inspired by thebaby booties, especially the first pair in the upper left. I went with a hexagon design, re purposing a nice card I received- adding "Julia touches" such as dotted grey, yellow and sherbet hexagons. Here's bee yourself

I had no idea, really! 10,000 kilos or 11 US tons per year of flip flops wash up on their shores each year, what? This makes me sad, yet hopeful that some of this waster is being collected, washed, and recycled into beauty!!! I hope I can play with everyone here, Angie!!! I love this thought and inspiration :* Aloha!
I used the site to inspire cards for 2 of the 3 students I tutor who are taking GCSE exams starting this week (1st Maths paper is on 24th). The 3rd card, not an inspiration one, ended up in the bin so back to the drawing board with that one.
These are my cards Josh Arella

I'm linking it up to a couple of other challenges as well. Since I made a WFD background for it I'll put it there and then also the CAS challenge - Picnic

Hello, I am new to this challenge but I think I have the gist of it. My card for IC649 "The Owl and The Koala" with inspiration from "Lion Father Lion Son" card, although as I mention in my description there were plenty of animal "products" to choose from.
For my second Teapot challenge card, I was inspired by colors in the Peace Baskets in the Vineyard Marketplace...two of my favorite color combinations: turquoise and lime-green. See my inspiration link here: https://www.vineyardmarketplace.org/...s/peace-basket and take a look at the summary picture on the left opposite the video...see the turquoise and lime basket with the flower in the middle (similar to those I used on my card). Here is my card: Traveling Teapot Challenge...Sympathy Card #2!
