Default Scrapbooking forums?

Does anyone have a list of scrapbooking forums that they frequent besides here? I'm getting back into scrapping after a few year hiatus, so I might just be out of the loop these days. LOL

I have been off for a long time too! I stumbled upon the 2PeasRefugees board that was opened when 2Peas in a Bucket closed. I have enjoyed getting to know the trends & they are all very sweet and helpful!

I started off scrapbooking, but gave it up when I started making cards.

This was a pretty good forum, and still seems to be pretty active:

I've been playing at this site for a few years. It is on the small side - anything seems small compared to SCS!
There is a registration process to keep spammers and other maliciousness at bay. Other than that, it is simple and free. You shouldn't have a problem navigating there, but if you have a question, please ask me.
There are having bunches of challenges right now - this weekend - so it really is a great time to check them out.
here is the site - http://scrappin-peeps.proboards.com/

Oh, and just in case you don't know about or commiunity of scrappers right here on SCS, here is the link: Scrapbooking - Splitcoaststampers
It is listed under the heading Splitcoast Challenges.

Do you think forums will move out of Facebook because of Facebook's problems? I've never been on Facebook because it gets 150 million hits a minute, and I was always worried about being hacked through them. I hope forums come back to other platforms now.

Me too! My youngest just started high school, everyone that has kids younger than this knows that all of your supplies and creative abilities go toward science fair projects and book reports!

Welcome back! This is the only forum I am on besides following some scrapbookers on YouTube. I'm finding getting back into it a little daunting because everything has changed. Everyone is doing single pages now...I don't get it. Single pages with only one picture to boot!

Just jump in with both feet. I'm getting lost in cyberspace looking at everyone's beautiful work!

This is definitely a trend that I won't be following! I love my 2 pager-mulitple-pic layouts! ;)

I am just getting back into scrapping again as well. Actually, just did my first page in probably 5 years. It is simple, no fuss one page layout. But I know have a page with my graduation from college in 2002 done ;)

Hey, Darcy! You need to update your signature!

I want to start scrapping again, too. Since I've been here, I have two new grandbabies. Got to make sure they know I remember them, too.

Is there any way to cross-post here in the Scrapbooking forums? Lots of people (including me) don't always look in the Challenges section for ideas and inspiration. The threads in this Scrapbooking forum, for the most part, haven't had any new posts in over 100 days. Thanks.

Hello,

I found the scrapbooking threads under forums and not the home page where the daily challenges are.....they are posted every month.....if you look under forums and find the challenges you will see a link to scrapbooking. This is where they are each month......stash busters, sketch, scrap lift and monthly goals. Here's the link to the main thread and where all the other threads are linked.....not sure about cross posting but I think if you check this link out each month you will see how many different posts there are.

May Scrapping and Chatter - sbc18may by Lmn at Splitcoaststampers

Happy Sunday and Mothers Day

Hi Scrapjanny, you posted a very good comment. Reminders from the challenges would help here.
There is a lot going on here on with SCS scrapbookers, way more often than in this thread, there is a good number of scrappers hanging out over under "Challenges". I see one of our scrap ladies has posted a link to our May thread already! Yay!
All interested should stop by and say hello to us, we'd love to get to know you. Also, you can post a question about our challenges too, if need be.

I'm finding my scrapping style has changed just because of the sheer volume of pictures you can take with a digital camera plus cell phone pictures. I still do tons of double page, multi-photo spreads, but I also do layouts where I feature a couple of photos from an event, and then I put the rest in a photo storage page with maybe one space reserved for journaling and some decoration. I already have about 52 completed albums, so I don't have space to scrapbook too many single photo layouts!
