Lisa here as your hostess for this weeks WTUI challenge.
We all have it a supply of patterned paper. Some of us have quite a stash built up and might not ever use it all. I have seen a growing trend of amazing CAS cards and am noticing not much patterned paper being used on them. Well today we are putting that patterned paper to use. Pull out your stash and use some of it. Show us some of that hoarded stash of pretty papers you are using.
As an added bonus and this is not in any way required tell us how long you might have had some of that patterned paper you are using on your cards. I know some of us have stashes going back many years and I would love to see some of that used on our cards today.
You're so right, Lisa.......many of us have reams of DP that we never use....some hoarded(as mine today) or the fact that we'd rather create our own. Thanks for the push.
Dug through my patterned papers in my small cardboard box for today's card- all leftovers from the last 2 years- for today's summer/beach themed card. I used a recycled card for my sea turtle image, making ocean waves with ripped light blue solid paper. Added some "clouds" against a dark blue background above my beach umbrellas and turtle, with a sparkle top border. Went with a multi layered daisy with a button/twine bow combo. Bottom strip is a watercolor project piece. Here's Sea Turtle

I don't think I'll ever use up my stash of dp!! I wanted to do a few cards each month using some of it, but never seem to get around to it. But at least here's one:
Lisa a great challenge today!! I am a bit late getting in,
but I finally made it!!

I love patterned paper...thanks for giving me a chance to use it, Lisa! My paper has been hanging around my stash since January, 2015! Here is my card Sharing in Your Sorrow!

Hi Folks, thank you for this great challenge, but there is a limit to what you can fit on a card. It's been a while since I last posted here but I couldn't resist this one. I had hoped to get more than three pieces on my card but I didn't have time to complete the card before we left on holiday so... here is my best attempt with the very few "older" patterned papers I have with me.
Here is a card for this challenge. I know my patterned paper is not old, but I did create a one sheet wonder from a 12 x 12. I stamped directly on this piece so I thought I would include it.
