Clean and Simple (CAS) Favorites for the week ending Saturday, April 7, 2018
Happy Weekend!
Welcome to the CAS Favorites thread for this week. This is a time to share with others the Clean and Simple cards you saved in your favorites gallery. Everyone is welcome to share...in fact, the more the merrier!
Here's some of my favorites...
Framed amazing you by Preethisc *a new-to-me stamper*
Birthday blossoms in blue by Ellibelle *a new-to-me stamper*
Now it's your turn to share!!
And if you have favorites that are not Clean and Simple, you are encouraged to share those on the regular Favorites thread. (I'll add a link when that thread goes live.)
This thread is open to everyone and is a great way to recognize the work of SCS's many talented CAS artists.
There are really only two "rules" here on the thread:
The Gallery posts you link to should be in the CAS style...
-------------------------------- And what does it mean to be Clean and Simple?
It's all about the design.
* Uncluttered
* lots of white or open space
* one main focal point
--------------------------------
...and they should be from the past week.
Did you find your way to this thread because someone listed one of YOUR creations as a favorite? In addition to saying thank you, we encourage you to pay that smile you're probably wearing right now forward by sharing a few of the cards/projects YOU favorite-ed this week.
If this is your first time being mentioned in this thread or you have a new blog we have blog badges found here in this post.
Need help linking your Favorites? Follow these steps:
1. Load this week's Favorites thread in your first browser tab. Scroll down and click the Go Advanced button.
2. Open a second tab (or a separate window). Go to the Gallery and click on "My Favorites."
3. Click on a card you have saved. At the top, highlight the web address. Hit Ctrl+C to copy.
4. Switch back to the first tab. Type the cardmaker's SCS name, add a couple of spaces and hit Ctrl+V to paste your link there. Hit Enter twice to add a blank line.
5. Repeat as many times as needed for all your links.
6. Click the Preview Post button and check that your links work. Then click the Submit Reply button.
Thank you Diane for starting the thread. Thank you Karen for sending the happy mail to the amazing crafters on this thread. We really appreciate you volunteering your time.
Karen, thanks so much for the happy mail, and to Kandie and Mary for adding my "Dance HUmor" to the CAS favorites. I am delighted, and doing the happy dance!

Thanks so much for the mention, Jen. It's always an honor, but even more so when you struggle with a card like I did with this puppy.
Here are my CAS faves from last week:
Love Life by Biggan Birgit's leaf is AWESOME, as is her asymmetrical design.
Thanks by abbysmom2198 I was really drawn to Linda's use of color on this one - a delightful variant on the idea of black and white with a pop of color.
Fiesta Right Meow by UnderstandBlue Lydia's use of the big circle in her design really caught my eye - her positioning of it makes for a visually impactful, unexpected design.
Together by k dunbrook Karen did a fabulous job in having her collage/die cuts "illustrate" her sentiment. CAS Perfection!
Girlfriends by Holstein Sometimes it is the smallest detail that kicks a card up from really nice to fabulous. Linda's use of scoring on this fun card was that small detail for me.
Many Thanks by Ardyth I can always depend on Ardyth to inspire me with a great design and the perfect popped color.
Very big thanks to Diane and Jen for mentioning my foil card today! And, also to Karen for the heads up - what a big job you have and it is very much appreciated.
Many blessings and thanks Mary T. (aka jandjccc) for mentioning my Glazed Donuts card in your weekly favorites! You really made my day! :-) Thanks also to Karen for the notification.
Thanks so much, Susan, for including my birthday kitty card on your list this week. What a rush! Thanks, too, to Karen for being the bearer of happy news.
Thanks, Diane for starting the thread, and Karen for notifying. Thanks to Lisa, Mary and Debbie for mentioning my card. Makes me happy when I actually do a cas card right. Here are some favorites that caught my eye or funny bone-the cas challenge this week was fun-.
Thanks, Mary for mentioning my CAS card from last week as one of your favorites. Thanks, Karen for informing me!
