Default Shaker cards...

What are your favourite things to put inside shaker cards? My LSS has the 28 Lilac Lane cubes of sequins mixed with buttons and glitter, but I am wondering what everyone's favourite brand of "shaker stuff" is?

Sequins from all the major stamp companies from which I order online. (NOT the overly shiny, overly bright kind you find at Dollar Store and craft stores) and PRILLS...tiny round things that look like they belong on top of a cupcake. Many color groups, like sequins. I think I got some from My Favorite Things, and maybe Joann, online.
I string jewelry, too, so I'm thinking of using real beads, too.

I like confetti shapes. Seasonal shapes or other fun ones, sometimes mixed with sequins or small beads.

I have seen those. They look beautiful but were kind of expensive?

Do you want it to rattle? Kids love that. Then seed beads are good. Doesn't take a lot either. They come in a million colors and finishes at any craft source.

I have been using these guys a LONG time-they are a wholesaler but they sell to the public too. You have to share with friends because stuff can come by the mil (1000)

Wholesale Beads and Jewelry Making Supplies - Fire Mountain Gems and Beads[adl]+[brand]+fire+mountain+gems+(phrase)&adgroup=mountain+-+beads&keyword=%22beads+mountain%22&gclid=CjwKCAjwhcjVBRBHEiwAoDe5x13El26V0hDdu1_CVUme bKudTmfgI8VsLYF53Zybt_sxPJ6BfBYdWhoCHnMQAvD_BwE&kwid=159076642x39786517373x760424626

Mixing some solo left overs can be a good way to use it up. If it comes mixed (like with a shape) that costs more. Do it yourself!

I like prills too.

I want to do an experiment myself to see if I can custom color clear with alcohol markers, esp in a pinch cuz I am not that patient to make a habit of it. I am still trying to find TRUE clear though. They always seem to have a touch of AB to them.

I've been using copics to custom color lots of things for a long times - they work on pearls, and sparkly stick on gems...just about anything. So I'm guessing they'll work on prills as well.

This place has amazingly good prices for sequins and other shaker card fillers:
Cartwright's Sequins

If you have the patience, a combination of small beads, large flakes (transparent/metallic/glitter) and sequins looks amazing.

Katscrappiness has some sequin mixes at a reasonable price:

Pretty Pink Posh is a little pricier:
Sequin Mixes

Lots of great choices on Etsy:

I've used:
1) cake sprinkles for birthday card
2) coffee grounds on a coffee themed card
3) Sand on a beach card
4) holiday confetti (I have ghosts/bats and easter confetti)

Have fun and STAMP on!!

I just purchased a whole bunch of sequins from Tonic Studios. They are so pretty, I almost hate to use them! :P

I took a look and I really like the hexagon and square confetti - a nice contrast to the size and shape of other sequins and filler.

My husband used to finish dry wall way back in the 80's. He put glitter in the textured ceilings. I still have a ton of it left. I think I could make 1000++++ shaker cards and still have some left. Hey, I'm re-purposing LOL. I have made a fairy birthday card and nautical themed card using the glitter so far.

For snow/ winter cards/holiday cards I like using the fake snow you can find around the holidays. Picked up a massive bag for $1 at The Dollar Store.
