Those of us in the Northern Hemisphere welcomed in Spring this week. (Although some of us still have snow so it doesn�t seem very Spring-like). I was perusing the tutorial section recently and came upon a technique I�m not sure I�d ever tried. It�s paper piercing but you do it on the reverse side of your paper and you follow a stamped image as your guide.


Challenge: For today�s challenge I�d like you to give No-line Piercing a try and for extra points make your project Spring or Easter themed. When loading your card add it to the Technique Spotlight gallery and choose No-Line Piercing as your sub-gallery.

Tip: Do not use black ink on the image you stamp..use a light or medium colored one.


Remember to use at least two or more mediums on your project. See this post for ideas. And put MIX269 in the keyword section.

Ah...I may skip the bonus because I'm not sure if the stamping with Brusho background I made last night will work with a Spring theme. But I'm up for the technique part. This is one that I had figured out all on my own before the tutorial ;-), but just with simple design elements, not coloured in. I loved that extra step in Dina's tutorial.

And yay, my card is almost ready to put together when I get home from work. It's still not exactly warm up in my attic, but the brighter mornings sure make it easier to get up early and stamp. Thanks for the early post, Polly.

Well, I got it finished up after work while making some Mars Bar Squares to bring to my brother tomorrow - but once my mod shift was over I just went to bed. Finally got it uploaded, here it is: I guess a flower and butterflies can count as Spring, thought it's really rich summer colours. Anyway, I did the technique, so I'm not worried about bonus points ;-). Fun challenge, Polly.
