Hi, & Welcome to this weeks Inspiration Challenge. where we are headed to The Aquarium of the Pacificand you do not need to roll your pant legs up to play. I don't know about you but, I tend to do searches to see what color things may be to color them in a little bit of a real vibe. so, I had happened to do a search on Sand dollars and I found out that live ones are actually a pale lavender color when you see the white ones those are dried skeletons. ( who knew?) So, I promptly colored a purple sand dollar and set it aside. lol anyways sometimes it's fun to see what things look like in real life even if you go with the "artistic license thing" which I do frequently. As seen by the sea dragon image I finally decided I could live with how I colored.
Have fun with this, I am looking forward to see what sparks you all.
Use the keyword: IC641(no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words. Include your inspiration image in the description of your project being sure to only include links from The Aquarium of the Pacific.
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many, or too little, images to choose from, I've uploaded 7 of my favorite designs! So just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. Click on the images below to see them bigger and to get their links on SCS.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery post in this thread. Thanks for Joining along with us!
NEED HELP GETTING A LINK TO YOUR INSPIRATION PICTURE? Since so many are having trouble grabbing the link to just one picture, please try this:
If you are unable to grab the link of your chosen picture, (on some sites, you can't, it only gives a link to the whole collection), hover over the picture in the collection that you want to link to. On a windows machine, right click the picture (on a Mac, 2 finger click). When the options come up, select COPY IMAGE ADDRESS. This link will be for that picture.
Ah, the airline that operated where I live went belly up last fall and they have not replaced the commercial flights here as of yet so, we are spending the next little while traveling to the airport and back ( over the mountains and through the snow)
(at least its not barefoot and uphill both ways)
so, I will probably not be able to comment until Sunday.
I loved to visit this site I've been visiting an aquarium not as big as this one in France at "la Rochelle" and it's so beautiful so I was glad to play

I was inspired by the colors of the tufted puffin and since it's a chilly morning, decided to make this cozy fireplace scene. Used dimensional dots to give it a 3-D effect. Here's from our home to yours
