Clean and Simple (CAS) Favorites for week ending Saturday, Mar. 3, 2018
Happy March, all - Debbie here with my list of delightful CAS cards that made their way into my Favorites folder this past week. I hope you'll join me and add those CAS cards that inspired you this week.
Grateful by Rambling Boots I loved the gold embossing on this beauty - it really brought out the beautiful veining.
Grand Canyon Bird by susanbri I loved Susan's coloring and how she used a lot of white on white to frame it, keeping her design CAS, but still providing lots of visual interest.
Pretty in Pink by frenziedstamper Cindy's design is just gorgeous - love how she combined her flower with the offset embossed sunburst.
Shinesun Duckie by Tracy_inkyfingers I really liked the sentiment placement relative to the focal image on this one - it really gave this cute card great balance. Great design choice.
You are Amazing by Ardyth Ardyth's brightly colored emboss resist panel, paired with her bold black die cut and sentiment pack a lot of presence to her classic CAS design.
Woodgrain Birthday by Angelnorth Joanne hit a home run with this fabulous birthday card - especially for guys or teens. The wood grain background really adds great interest and compliments the card's other elements.
Good Luck! by donidoodle I think Doni's birdbrain card may be the best St. Patrick's Day card I ever saw. Birdbrain looks like she's ready to party!
So that's my list. Now it's your turn to tell us which cards last week were your CAS Favorites. If you have favorites that aren't CAS, I encourage you to share them over on this week's Regular Favorites thread.
This thread is open to everyone and is a great way to recognize the work of SCS's many talented CAS artists.
There are really only two "rules" here on the thread:
The Gallery posts you link to should be in the CAS style...
-------------------------------- And what does it mean to be Clean and Simple?
It's all about the design.
* Uncluttered
* lots of white or open space
* one main focal point --------------------------------
...and they should be from the past week.
Did you find your way to this thread because someone listed one of YOUR creations as a favorite? In addition to saying thank you, we encourage you to pay that smile you're probably wearing right now forward by sharing a few of the cards/projects YOU favorite-ed this week.
If this is your first time being mentioned in this thread or you have a new blog we have blog badges found here in this post.
Need help linking your Favorites? Follow these steps:
1. Load this week's Favorites thread in your first browser tab. Scroll down and click the Go Advanced button.
2. Open a second tab (or a separate window). Go to the Gallery and click on "My Favorites."
3. Click on a card you have saved. At the top, highlight the web address. Hit Ctrl+C to copy.
4. Switch back to the first tab. Type the cardmaker's SCS name, add a couple of spaces and hit Ctrl+V to paste your link there. Hit Enter twice to add a blank line.
5. Repeat as many times as needed for all your links.
6. Click the Preview Post button and check that your links work. Then click the Submit Reply button.

Thank you amazing CAS Favorites team, and thank you Debbie (swldebbie), for starting off the thread today. ! I know you get lost with the Favorites thread, but I am so honored to be included in your thread this week. You are all so dearly loved, and I am loving CAS more and more myself! ;)
Thank you, sweet Karen (k dunbrook), for notifying me! You are a sweetie! And thank you, sweet Diane (fionna51) and Kia (kiagc), for including my Cascade Orchid in your list this week. I am so honored and thrilled you like my card. Warm hugs to you!
