December Daily 2017

I'm just about finished with mine. I have Dec. 30 and 31 to complete. I kept it super simple and fun. I re-purposed one of those free brag books you get in the mail, and I used an Echo Park Christmas collection that I've had for about 4 years. I'll probably finish it up tomorrow.

I'm still plugging away! lol I never finish mine in December. I'm usually lucky if I finish in January! I'm on Day 6 now... but I'm determined

Mine is still in the basket. LOL I've been so busy trying to get my planners up and running and a work flow in place that I've not even touched it.. and today my printer locked up - 25 pages in to my planner. Ugh. New printer will be here Wed.

I worked on putting mine together one day last week - started with Dec 31 and worked backwards. :mrgreen: I'm on Dec 25 - middle of the day.

The biggest topics (more than one page / more than one pic) in my book will be:
- Christmas Day
- Christmas Eve
- trip to Gaylord Opyrland
- things from November (will probably just make this part of the introductory section, and "1" is December 1, because I do have something for every day in December. )


And yeah on the printer! My Canon Pixma - for some reason - won't print wirelessly from the desktop. :( And it was fine up to a few days before Christmas. :confused:


Epson PicMate will print sizes 5 x 7 and down, so I should be good for printing pictures.


I feel pretty sure by the time I get a few more days completed, I'm going to be "out" of the good journaling and filler cards. Seems like I'm flipping past the same ones. Time to get more creative.

I finished mine 2 days ago. I might stick in an extra picture or 2 at the end, but it's done.

I basically need to print my pictures. Any gaps will be with journaling about stuff. My focus is getting the office dug out this week and put back in a work flow since I'm back to being self-employed. Once I get a work-flow then I can get back to finishing up projects.

Still chugging away. Determined to complete this book. Once I get December 24 completed, I should be able to do a page a day until I get to the holiday trip, which is the other big event with multiple pages. (I'm working backwards.)

Keeping up with Project Life plus the working plus home life - whew.


I'm, at this point, worrying that I will need a second album! :shock: Hoping NOT - because there's no way I can get a matching album. This one is going to be full.


CAS pages - simple, quick and flat! It's about the photos and the stories!

This happened.....there I was typing merrily away bringing you all up to date about where I was at, and chatting as usual when the site decided to shut everything down and upload the page again, losing all of my words...maybe not a bad thing :rolleyes:

As hubby had been asking me for about 15 mins when dinner would be ready and I kept saying in a min after I've posted this....I gave up, prepared dinner and now find myself sitting at our kitchen bench hoping that this post won't disappear, which seems to happen frequently when I'm on the site....it doesn't like my iPad. :(


I've also resorted to a glass of wine, which is unusual for me as I don't seem to drink much these days....well maybe on holiday, but hey it's the weekend. Frustration also doesn't help ;).


I'm also having the hotties (flushes) and saying to hubby I think it's our diet as we haven't been eating healthy since I've been housebound....how does that work? Mmmmm...something to do with me not shopping as frequently but I've recently found online grocery shopping....and loving it. Small things please.


So to follow on from Melissa's post....yes I will be doing two albums....my December daily will be my trip and I also have my Year in review for the pocket pages challenge. I've printed photos and thought today would be the day to start but I find myself lost on this site....again, and by the time I've read the latest thread I follow, watch videos on techniques and comment on the beautiful creations, the day has passed me by. I know.....I chat too much but love our chats ladies.


Hubby has asked if I can spend time tomorrow helping him do further research for our next trip and I soooo want to scrap. In between all of this I have my table ready to do the blue, drizzle, scene...mmm, maybe no time for a scene...challenges and soon another week of challenges will be upon us. Eek.


Phew, I'm with you Melissa.....life's full on and I think I need to pull my word out again...commit, commit, commit.


The good news is dinners cooking, hubby is watching sport and happy so I may get some time this evening....but I do love our Saturday night tv viewing.....;)


So back to my wine I go, writing in my journal about all the things I'm going to create....bottom line is...I'm still in. It may be next December by the time I post, but I'm there.

Yay I made a quick card last night but my post has disappeared...story of my life :( LOL...I put it in an album and am hoping it will reappear so I can post it on the challenge....as for pockets and December Daily and other stuff...watch this space. Happy Sunday everyone

I'm still in for this...mine will be part Nov/Dec daily LOL. Anyone else still in? Happy Friday...gosh it's muggy here....about 31 degrees and feels as though I'm in the tropics.

Still not started my travel journal yet as I'm trying to stashbust and complete a couple of LOs from the February challenges....currently doing my WOTY1 LO and hope to finish that later today. Have an idea for WOTY2....gosh how will I get them all done before March arrives? LOL.:rolleyes::cool:

With work keying up and me feeling poorly - I just have not found the time or energy to pull this out and work on it. :( I'm doing good to keep up with Project Life and WOTY. BUT - I'll get there.

I found your post...I knew I had seen it somewhere but the site has been throwing me off again....so sorry to hear this. Get well soon.


I have a long way to go and just about to reprint some photos for my next LO. I still want to do my WOTY002 this week too...maybe after my op I will have more time. ;)



I may not post all of my LOs too as it seems to take a long time some days to get them into this site when I could be scrapping more :rolleyes:;)
