You're currently viewing Splitcoaststampers as a GUEST. We pride ourselves on being great hosts, but guests have limited access to some of our incredible artwork, our lively forums and other super cool features of the site! You can join our incredible papercrafting community at NO COST. So what are you waiting for?
It's Sabrina here starting the Favourites thread this week - my first time. Yay for being able to prep in advance and have Carla make this live at a suitable time.
The gallery has been filling up with lots of love-themed cards as Valentine's Day approaches. Share the love and share a few of your favourites here this weekend.
Please, please, the notifying team will {heart} you if you make sure your links are working before you hit submit. I had trouble with my own today, and ended up having to paste them from here into Notepad, and then copy and paste them back again . It's a LOT of work for the team to notify invalid links. See post #2 for some helpful links including how to post. And some important advice about not using MS Word, which Lydia has always told me is problematic for cutting and pasting into the forum. Actually, she used slightly more emphatic language than that ;-).
About this thread: The current week's FAVORITES thread is a way to give recognition to some of the standout creations shared in our SCS Gallery. This is the place to link all the fabulous favorites you discovered in the SCS Gallery last week, Sunday February 4 through Saturday February 10. Everyone is welcome to join in - check my next post for directions.
Got a CAS card favorite? Look for the CAS (Clean and Simple) Favorites for Week thread in the Favorites Forum.
This week our dedicated team members making the notifications are: Carla (Covington Crafter), Carlene (Chatterbox-1), Janine (Jay_Bee), Kia (kiagc), Shirley (wannabecre8tive) and me (Cook22), with Angie as our stalwart back-up on later postings during the week.
You don't have to wait until you have a card in the Favorites threads. The more participation we have, the more fun and interesting this thread will be. You also DO NOT have to wait for a notice to post a thank you. Please help the Favorites Teams by making sure:
That the LINKS in your Favorites List work correctly.
WE ARE UNABLE TO NOTIFY LINKS THAT DO NOT WORK.
IMPORTANT NOTE: MS Word and other office software have format programming that conflicts with SCS programming. Either copy and paste the code directly into the SCS site orprepare your post in Wordpad, TextEdit or Notepad then copy and paste into SCS.
The card makersSCS NAME is shown, it really helps if their name is in color.
It really, really, helps if you have a BLANK LINE between each entry.
And please DO NOT use the Quote button to the side of the post when you post a thank you!!Replying with the Quote button causes the original message to be repeated. That can confuse the team, and we may notify people twice.
Did you find your way to this thread because someone listed one of YOUR creations as a favorite? In addition to saying thank you, we encourage you to pay that smile you're probably wearing right now forward by sharing a few of the cards/projects YOU listed in your favorites for this week. Here is my list of favorites for this week. Unfortunately, I was unable to be in the galleries much this week. Therefore, I'm sure I missed a lot of beauties!
Have a great week all and I continue to wish those unwell restored health - that includes our Tess and poor Buttons who lives across the road - He is really going through it and is such a lovely big golden retriever.

Thank you Janine for the happy mails you brought me this morning, I'm leaving in a few minutes and I'll be back tonight Thank you Jayne and Bev (guneauxdesigns) for mentioning my cards and Dank je wel Michelle wat lief ben er heel blij mee!!
Big thanks to Anne (jdmommy), Carla (Covington Crafter) and Anita (snietje) for favoring my cards and mentioning here. I appreciate it.
Thank you Carlene for the happy mail.
Sabrina, thanks for getting us started and for the notifications.
Special hugz to Carla, Bev, Sue and Jeannie for mentioning some of my cards here. I really appreciate your time and sweet hearts.
Thanks to the notification team this week: Carla (Covington Crafter), Carlene (Chatterbox-1), Janine (Jay_Bee), Kia (kiagc), Shirley (wannabecre8tive), Sabrina (Cook22), and Angie (ohmypaper!). I especially want to thank you this week because I was off two days with gum surgery so I had extra time to check out the gallery. The result was that my faves list for the week is somewhere near 60. I just couldn't decide how to cull it so I settled on the method I used for Faves of the year - cards I know I will think about all year or wish I had thought of or cards that make me want to go buy something or learn something new. The list is still long and I hate I had to chop it down because there were some totally awesome cards this week.
I had some link issues so I am going to do another post with the ones I had to remove due to links not showing.
justwritedesignsCool Pop IC636 by justwritedesigns - at Splitcoaststampers (this is my fave card of the week - the images and the sentiment and the icy glitter are all so pretty, but Julie put the word POP on it so cute and my Pop is one of my favorite people in the world so I actually have put the die used and the image in my basket at ODB - I just have to convince myself that I need them - I am almost there) JustCallMeNanaIC635 Sympathy Flowers by JustCallMeNana - at Splitcoaststampers (I love that soft green stamped foliage, the gold embossing, the gold beads, the vivid flower - everything about this is so stunning and I have studied it trying to learn) KiagHearts Day by kiagc - at Splitcoaststampers (love the colors and CC looks so cute on the edge of that cup)

Thanks so much Anita for listing my card, Butterfly Hello, as one of your Favorites. I really appreciate it. And, thanks to Janine for the happy mail! Hugs to both of you!
Good morning, ladies! I had to work a fire station auction this last week so I only got two cards done. However, I had time to see all the wonderful Alpha ladies’ cards for the week. Here are my favorites.
Thank you Jean (naturecoastcrafter) for adding my card to your favorites, and Lisa (Shoe Girl) for adding two of my cards to your favorites. I'm honored.
Thank you Carlene.
Thank you so much, Miss Kandie, for choosing my You Are My Beautiful Thing card this week as a favorite! I feel loved! Big Hugs and Lots of Blessing to you and to Janine for the Happy News~
