Challenge: create a title page

It's a new year with a fresh book. Or maybe you need to finish last year’s book. How about a TITLE PAGE? Some say this is the easiest part of the book. I dunno. My page went together easy, but after YEARS of struggling to find a way to create a title page that pleasing to me. A page that made me smile.
Some people choose late 2017 photos to open their 2018 book. I thought about it –but I just couldn’t - at least not for 2017. My method was to use that year’s photos – a mix of all year – to create that year’s title page.
Then, later that day, I decided to go ahead and do 2018. I sketched out the idea to make a B & W title page. And picked to favorite photos from December 2017. I haven't completed the page yet. Coming soon.
So, what method do you / will you decide to use?
There are many ways to create a title page. Google – it will likely take you to Pinterest. Find one or several somethings pleasing to your eye. Figure out what you like about that page. Then create something uniquely yours.
Some ideas:
-Say HELLO!
-Choose photos of your family – as a group and /or individually.
-Add letters or initials of your last name to a card or a photo.
-Create a non-photo title page with fun quotes and pretty patterned paper.
What other ideas can you think of?

Hi Melissa, here's my title page I created a couple of weeks ago for my Year in Review Album. As I've done mine and about to start on my other pocket pages to follow this, hoping I can post and share here.

Yay....I did it. I finally worked out how to get my photos printed smaller (and larger) in My Image Garden. All printed and I'm now ready to start the challenge and do some pocket pages.....and you ladies will finally get to see me LOL. Happy Saturday everyone

I started mine last night.....my main issue is that the photo layout doesn't match the pocket style I have and I'm determined not to buy yet so am improvising. Happy Tuesday everyone

This will be the January divider for my OLW album ...I added the black around the page so you can see it better. I am printing it on white without the border cause I want the stark contrast
PKP002 Technique (01/17/18)
I wasn’t planning to use photos. In the end, I picked some favorite photos from the year – I printed some in color and some in black and white. My 2017 Project Life title page is peek into 2017 that opens my 2017 Project Life album. How fun it will be to come across the same photos within the year’s pages and say – I know that photo!
