I've had two birthdays already this month. I really only need three more birthday cards for this month. I never know what to do about my SIL whose anniversary is also her birthday! So I usually send a birthday card and add anniversary wishes.
I have 3 cards left to make then all of my January cards will be ready for the mail! I don't think this has ever happened before... not even eons ago when I actually sent cards/ letters on a regular basis.

I need 10 Birthday cards (I like to use Scripture on the front of my cards so they most likely will not have confetti)... plus I need 10-15 encouragement/thinking of you or sympathy cards. I will use some of the ones that I have on hand but here are a few for January:
I figured out how many stamps I need for birthday/ anniversary/ TPT/ and one other (required 52) and bought my stamps yesterday. $137 for the entire year... but I got them before price goes up on the 15th.
We also have a new 911 Address so all of our return labels are obsolete. I spent yesterday designing new ones and printing them out.. for the bill folder/ monthly card/ Christmas cards (both art and our personal)
Now to put them to use. I have 3 cards left to make for January so I should have them all rubber banded together and in the mail box on Monday.

I have cards in my stash for the 3 birthdays this month . That those that I could remember that is. I have a few cards being made so who knows they may fit in January. I so need a sympathy card not sure if it falls in here being we know it’s a end of someone’s life but for many even if that person passes on. We celebrate their life so when I get it done I’ll post . In fact like you said celebrating life can be a number of endless ways and meanings. Mahalo sis
Hi Kelly, I'd like to join in on your group's challenges this year as I sometimes make a card and there isn't always a weekly challenge relevant.
As you know, I've made a birthday card this past week and your challenge would have been perfect for it. I need more and have a craft half day with a friend on Wednesday so will make some then.
Thanks for the challenge and happy day.

Here is one Celebrating My BIL who’s in Hospice care at home and for this weeks Teapot Tuesday Challenge for him and his Wife Kathy..feel free all to head over to The Teapot Tuesday Challenge MTPT493 to send them a card to lift their hearts and spirts and celebrate his life. It would greatly be appreciated and mahalo much in advance from me and my Ohana....
One of my New Years Resolutions was to use a set that I just HAD to have, bt it just sits, Flower of the Month. So I am using it!!!!
I just noticed for January I used the CELEBRATE embossing folder on the cards...Celabration of Life.
For January, I need my mother and my older sister (who is old enough to be my mom, and raised me for much of my youth) 3 SCS friends and one other distant cousin.
Great job! I need to finish mine up and get them postal. I was motivated to start destashing the office corner of the studio.. since a couple of drawer units in my mixed media area need to be moved over there before I can finish the mixed media area - A vicious circle, I tell you!
I also need a sympathy card and a' thinking of you' but will be Monday/ Tue before I can do any creating.

I’ve been tidying my craft room, couldnt find anything, well actually couldn’t remember where anything was, my Dies are in my new DVD cases on my shelf so it’s looking much better.
Sis Mahalo for this Challenge!!! It keeps me aware I need more of this type of cards. As sad as the situation it’s for it’s part of life and a part that I need to add to my stash so I don’t lose my granny undies always fly by it’s seat to get these type done!! Lol or one day I maybe selling seashells by the seashores of Hawaii to replace them haha
Here's a card I made this week for my friend's 50th yesterday. I used the word Celebrate inside the card. Hope it meets the challenge.
TFL and for the challenge. Happy day

Hey gang! First off, I apologize if you see this same post across multiple threads. I'm on a time budget but wanted to let y'all know I haven't fallen off the wagon again.
Just a quick note. I've had some health issues the past week or so while getting the office finished. I have company all this week and Bob is coming home after being gone the past 5 weeks. I won't be around for the next 10 days or so but then I hope to get caught up!

I hope I'm doing this right. I found I needed a wedding card at the end of August and it fits the January 2018 theme..."Celebration of Life." Here is my card: A Wedding Story Weaves a Fabulous Quilt!
