Since we are only hours away from a new year that will be celebrated all around the world, our challenge is to find inspiration in WorldMarket. We don’t always look at other countries and see the beauty in the items they produce. I think this site will interest you not only in these products, but in the variation of colors and patterns.
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many, or too little, images to choose from, I've uploaded 5 (or more) of my favorite designs! So just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. Click on the images below to see them bigger and to get their links on SCS.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors,layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist,please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a dayoff and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member -yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Anne- thank you for this wonderful inspiration site- I wish we had a World Market nearby! My kids had on in Bozeman, and enjoyed going there to sample teas and get their international chocolates. As I love bonsai trees, I picked this Mini Bonsai Kit- doing paper piecing for my background, and using a stamped image from a friend. Added a die cut ribbon border for an accent. Here's Bonsai tree

Lovely cards in the gallery, for some reason I cannot access the World Market site, and have only been able to pull up a couple of the links as the card inspiration. If I play it will have to be one of the inspiration photos, too bad, looks like a store I would enjoy browsing!
Loved this whimsical Christmas Tree Bottle Outfit from our inspiration site, World Market. I used Penny Black's the decorators rubber stamp for my main image, and creating a torn paper snow and sky background. Found some cool reverse die cut snowflakes in the recycle bin of our paper store- and added some die cut snowflakes of my own. Finished with a 3 border candy cane treatment and a hand written sentiment. Here's Snowy Happy Holidays
