Hi everyone! I hope your Thanksgiving holiday was filled with friends, family and good food. November was not so good for my family and I had to skip over the Challenge for last month, but December is now here and I'm looking forward to getting in the Christmas Spirit. I haven't started my Christmas cards yet, but after I'm done writing this, I'm starting!
I named this challenge "Holiday Happiness" for a couple reasons. 1) Because I'm so happy I have a MISTI (and it's time to mass produce my Christmas Cards) and 2) Because giving away My Sweet Petunia prizes every month brings me such great happiness and I want to spread the love. The monthly challenges had been geared towards those who already owned one, this month I'd like to also open up the prize winning potential for those who don't. A $50 store credit to My Sweet Petunia would spend easy on a new MISTI!
In 2017 I learned many new techniques on how the MISTI can be used in my card making and other paper crafting. I originally bought mine because I just couldn't line up those layering stamps that were all the rage. Now I've learned of SO many OTHER things you can do with her. For my card today, though, I'm going back to my original reason for bringing her into my life: LAYERING STAMPS.
When I saw this stamp at Gina K. Designs, I HAD to have it for my paper crafts this Christmas. I hope you like my tag and I'm very anxious to see what you post.

I love the greens and golds in this tag and embossed gold on the flowers to make them really sparkle. I love bling during this season!

We moved across the country on Thanksgiving so we are still trying to settle. But I wanted to take a break and make some cards for the first time in a couple of months!
Thanks for making the Misti and for a fun challenge. I have a mini Musti in my wish list in case I make new friends here in TX and get to go to crops.
2841810 Here is my entry. I don't own a Misti. I am thankful for this opportunity. I don't really know how I would have used it on this card in particular but I would really like to get into layered stamps and it seems like its a must have for those. So owning a misti would ,are me happy because it would make stamping easier and faster with no mistakes to cover up

I have a project here that would probably be better stamped if I had a MISTI which I don't... This is my card that I stamped repeatedy by not dropping my stamp in the wrong place.

Sorry, I didn't mean to rush the occasion, I'm just new to this challenge and was wondering if it was a monthly thing or not. You said come play along, but I'm not seeing anything new. No problem, just inquiring.:?
