Do you recall or know if companies tend to do an after-christmas sale? Sales on non-Christmas themed items that is. I'm not ready to go into sale-withdrawal. After Black Friday through Christmas, it's hard to pay full price again when stamps and supplies were just available for less! I still have a wish-list and will have a little more money after Christmas to buy them than i did before! But paying full price, it's takes a little adjusting to after the holiday sales!
Sizzix often does a great one post christmas, I'm crossing my fingers. Retailers in general seem to be doing things differently this year though so who know.
An extra 10% off for three days only on Christmas clearance items at MarkerPop - use code XMAS10 at checkout - includes Altenew, Ranger, Spectrum Noir, Stampendous, Clarity, Pretty Pink Posh, Lilac Lane, Carta Bella, Queen & Co., and more. Joggles always has sales plus freebies and has a Holiday Hoopla that's been going on. Super customer service. I'm on their email list and am not sure if some sales are only announced on the list or are just easier to find, but they list their freebies on the emails. Mixed media supplies too.
Lili of the Valley is doing 50% off and free global shipping till midnight th 26th. Keep in mind how far ahead of us they are. Code FESTIVE50
Butterfly Reflections has 20% off sitewide. No code. Excludes new Lawn Fawn, Till midnight tonight. But I dont know which coast she is on. She did say it would be delayed shipping.
Catherine, Birch Press is giving 25% off the entire order with the code DESIGN25. They're the folks with the stacking dies, among other things. Birch Press Design
Unity has all of their 2017 releases on sale, plus freebies at various price points. One of my favorite stamp companies, for sure! The sale ends tomorrow...
The Cat's Pajamas has 40% off, and as per the banner ads here, an extra 10% if you add the code for SCS users.
All of the banner ads I'm getting are from Google and have nothing to do with stamping whatsoever - how/where can I see the banner ads you're referring to, please and thank you?

I use an ad-blocker on my PC, so I don't see them here, but on my phone (Android) I see them all the time. And usually the banner ones at the top of each forum page are very much site-endorsed ads, like MSP, TCP, Purple Onion, Verve and so on. I'm quite happy to continue seeing them on my phone as it helps me keep in touch with things ;-), so I don't feel too guilty about using a blocker on the PC.

Thanks for weighing in, but I'm still mystified... I used to see the stamping ones that you mention. How can I get them back, do you think...anyone...?
Sue, Have you restarted your computer lately? If not, that might be an idea.
Also, maybe try going to a few stamping sites. I’m thinking that should get you ads from lots of them. Who would have thought we’d be looking for ways to see ads?
The ads I'm seeing are for dating sites and CheapoAir and the like - not what I want/need, ya know? Crazy... Maybe it's a Chrome thing? They are the Googles, after all...
Interesting Sue, once you pointed this out... I noticed this is the same with me. I always had crafting ads but now I get random banner ads. On both my work computer and my home computer. I didn't realize I missed getting them, but now I do!!!
And also - MFT is having an after christmas sale! 25% off your order. I was so excited to see this, I jumped on it right away. Just use code SAVE25!
Back to Joggles - besides their Holiday Hoopla, 18% site wide, 25% off sale on alcohol inks and yupo paper, and have a video of techniques different from dropping drops of ink on yupo, like using canned air, brush or dripping (link below). They run specials on one type of item at a time, and emails give a heads up.
ETA They sell Ranger craft mats by the foot. Ranger actually referred me to Joggles for that. It's not cheap but nice to be able to cover a larger surface or tape to a self-healing cutting mat or similar, not that you can cut on it!
Altenew sent an email for a sale of "up to 50% off" on 126 items, but after looking through the first page and not seeing any at that discount, emailed them, thinking I might be in the wrong place. They responded. It seems that there was only one stamp that was 50% off, other than a "2017" stamp. Hmm. Not a good look for them.
The Sizzix after christmas sale is disappointing, basically the same ol clearance merch they always have with a few other things thrown into the mix. Nothing I would be remotely interested in was much of a savings. Then again I didn't get all that excited about any of their pre-holiday sales either.
Unfortunately by law, a company only has to have one item at a discount to claim "up to X%". I see it as bait and switch at worst and just lousy at best, and usually walk away if I find that happening-or only 2-3 things out of hundreds.
By the same token I get disgusted and walk away when a company has 5-10,000 things "on sale up to x%" but they dont filter by the sale %. I am just not surfing that many things at 10-20 to find the 50-70%s.
Something to consider-my LSS is having an after holiday sale, and I suspect others are. Good time to support your local Brick and mortars! In this bitter weather you might want to call ahead and make sure first though.
