Title: CAS461 - Not a Creature Was Stirring Hostess: Chrissy D (scs Chrissyd723) Keyword: CAS461 Week of December 25, 2017
MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY HOLIDAYS everyone! Our theme this week is "Not a creature was stirring." With Christmas here, the excitement is palpable and many children will have a hard time falling asleep. Your challenge this week is to create a card that shares someone sleeping, going to bed, who is sick in bed, etc. Use your imagination! CAS461 Gallery
1. There is no deadline to play along with the CAS challenges. 2. Take all the time you need to finish and upload your card. 3. Upload your card to your gallery and link back to this thread so we all can see your project. 4. Please remember to put in the correct keyword CAS461 when uploading your image, a copy/paste of the keyword is recommended to avoid typos. 5. Please feel free to combine the CAS challenges with any other challenge!
The challenges are to provide inspiration and to get us stamping, so have fun and follow your heART. We can't wait to see what you create!
And the FAVORITE from last week's fun gallery was an ADORABLE card by grannytranny!
Please grab this blinkie to share on your blog if you like!
Chrissy- thank you for the great challenge! Went with a resting/nesting bird, set against a dry embossed/sponged/colored tree background. Added some embellishments with red trim and burlap, and moss green striped washi tape. Here's Nesting Bird

This exactly fit the bill for one of my holiday cards
__________________ How did I get along before I found this wonderful addiction?
I have made hundreds of cards and so many people say it has brought joy to their lives which, in turn, brings joy to my life. Almost everyone I give them to says that they always save me, which I consider a huge compliment.
I initially started forming an idea for this card based off of a crisp, quiet winter's night... then I combined it with the current CAS "Chilled Thanks" challenge - the two certainly go hand in hand! :-D
