2017 - Which card/project are you most proud of in your own gallery this year?
2017 is almost done! It's been a fun time making cards and projects!
What card are you most proud of from your own gallery that you made this year?
I can't wait to see which cards everyone chooses! Have fun looking at everyone's cards and don't be shy at leaving a comment even if it's been already said. It can be a year-end holiday present
This is going to turn out to be a great thread. I have always had a hard time with 'guy' cards. This one didn't turn out too bad. I can hardly wait to see what everyone else does.
What a terrific idea for a thread, you're a star Miss Boo.
I love nothing better than colouring with my Prismacolour pencils on copy paper, fussy cutting and making a fun journal page. This ticks all the boxes for me.
GREAT thread idea, Jen! WOW, this is difficult to do! I have several I really enjoyed making, but decided on my shower card for my first grandbaby! A Grandbaby on the Way!

It didn't get as many views as my other cards, but I just love how the colors came out. I've been doing a lot of experimentation with non-traditional colors. It reminds me of Christmas in the 1970's!

I think this one is the one I like the best for 2017.
I was using up doilies and the flocked transparency from the Candlelight Christmas DSP.
It took a while; but the card finally came together:
It was fun to mix my stamp sets and stencils. I never do that. I always keep one set by itself and create, never mixing them. I didn't post photos on this site before 2017, so it was a small pool to select from.
Can you tell that I love Halloween? This book was my 1st effort at a paper bag album. My second one (a winter themed) went wrong in so many ways but I did finish it.

I went and looked at my gallery and thought really, is this all you uploaded.. and I could not make a decision but, I have been having fun looking at all of your choices
What a great idea ... I knew immediately what card I would pick, it is my fave from this season. I had postage stamps made of it, so I guess it would be my fave!

Sad to say I did not find a single one to share. I CASE'd way too many cards this year and made simple, not-works-of-art things. Maybe a year from now I will have something to be proud of. Mary Beth
I love this idea so we can go back through our own cards. I can't wait to go back to see what others add to this thread.
Ok I had to really narrow down the cards but I chose this one because it is another of my own hand drawn images that I have added to my stash of images to use on future cards.

Mary Beth, even if you CASE'd cards you still created your version of those cards. We would love to see what you are proud of making.
Once again, this is such a fun thread! I want to say thank you to everyone who so kindly visited my gallery and left such nice comments on my Lego card. It's not a hard card to make. I cut 1-1/4" squares and used a 1/2" circle punch for the dots, and popped them up with foam dimensionals. If you google lego card you can see lots of examples!

Mary Beth, you have a beautiful gallery! And I love simple cards! Have you checked out Clean & Simple (CAS) Challenge on Monday's?

Most of you are telling us why you picked the card you did. That's awesome! It made me look at my chosen card again and realized that it uses the sentiment as the main image. That is rare for me. That must be why it stuck out from the crowd to me.

Mary Beth your gallery is lovely. I agree with Miss Boo about checking out the CAS challenges. That's my craft goal for next year...CAS challenges...I hope I see you there.

I'd have to say this one I did for Falliday Fest. I colored the cat to look like our youngest (& my bestest friend), Barney. I absolutely love how it came out. Also, but for Dina's challenge, I never would have thought to put the cat in the corner. I also think the greeting is just perfect for this little kitty!
I think the one I'm most proud of is one using my favourite Christmas stamp. I got the colouring just right and felt I really captured the vintage look of the image:
What a fabulous idea!! Can't wait to go back and look at everyone's faves! The card I'm most proud of is this one. I love to watercolour, but I struggle with it. I think this one is the best I've done so far.

OK...It was hard to narrow down but...I really liked this one MIX213 Imagining by peeps321 - at Splitcoaststampers
It's got some interesting elements and that face outline is a fun stamp to use. I got to do some text transfer and use some washi tape and my favorite color is green ;)
Great thread - and fun to see everyone's projects. I didn't make alot of cards this year and there were a few that I was too busy to upload to my blog or here on SCS - but this most recent card was my favourite as I had been playing around with making a galaxy backgrounds & tried one with Halloween colours and loved how it turned out & hope you like it too
