MMTPT485~November 7, 2017~Let Your Little Light Shine
Welcome to Teapot Tuesday the Sisterhood of the Traveling Teaparty and Challenge #485
Let Your Little Light Shine
Note: Anyone is welcome to play! You automatically become a Teapotter the first time you play in our challenge. Also, you do not have to write a story. You just have to be inspired by the teapot or by the story about this week's location! Have fun! If this is your first Teapot Tuesday Challenge, please mention that in your commentary so we can be sure to greet you properly, in pure Teapot Tuesday fashion! Your participation in Destination Station is 100% voluntary and not at all required. Just have fun!
The Rest of the Story:
1: Wow!! Remember your first dress up dance? What a fun, exciting and nervous time. Getting the perfect gown, the perfect shoes, having hair just right, and make-up perfect. Oh my, all the choices and decisions to make. It's enough to drive a girl (or her mother) crazy.
2: Well, just such is the case for Mama Sue. She is about ready to pull her hair out from all this silliness and indecision. Why, they must have been to to at least a dozen stores already and tried on twice that many dresses. And now Lil Sue wants to go back to that 5th store; you know the one where I found the dress with matching shoes.
3: Oh no....Mama Sue is sure her feet are going to fall off but back they head to store #5 and try to get the perfect gown. It really is quite beautiful with layers and layers of chiffon in all shades of teal, purple, blues and greens. Lil Sue thinks it looks just like a peacock and she really loves it. But there is just something missing. Finally it hits her: What's missing is the sparkle....the bling....the WOW....
4: RUT ROH!!! That could send a dress to the bottom of the list in no time. Teapotter's we need help pronto with the WOW factor.
Challenge Translation:
We need, sparkle, we need bling, we need cheerful and uplifting. We need the "Atta girl"s and the "You got this girl"s and lots of color. And of course prayers are welcome as well.
Destination Station:
This week the teaparty bus is headed to Kansas City. If you would like a destination for your cards, how about sending them to Zei. (Pronounced Zay)
to find out why as well as get the address to mail your card, please visitpost 590 in the Teapot Tuesday Destination Station thread. It is totally 100% voluntary!

Ever want to get a jump on next week's challenge card? SCS has given Sheri (KSNurse) permission to create an email Teapot Tuesday Cheater Group and email the challenge out on the Saturday before the Tuesday of the challenge so you girls can have the weekend to make your card. Send her a pm with your email address if you wanna be a Cheater!
If you are confused about these challenges, see the first sticky post of this thread for more information. There is also a directory of individual challenges.
Combined the TLS technique this week to make the Fairy Godmother's dress in colors I think she will like. Thanks for sharing the opportunity to send something to this young girl.
A it late but getting there...here is my card for her...."The real you"

Playing for the challenge catch-up. The challenge said you need sparkle, bling, cheerful, uplifting, and lots of color. I have added lots of iridescent glitter to the flowers and the die-cut sentiment, plus a shiny criss-cross satin ribbon with purple iridescent goosebumps. T here's also a beautiful array of blues, turquoises and purples. Here is my card: A Daughter's Birthday!
