I don't think they would last until October if I bought any right now! Tonight I am having a chocolate attack and there is nothing in the house except chocolate chips...

Think of them as little teeny tiny Hershey's kisses....and enjoy!! :-) I've been known to open a bag & scarf them down when that's all the chocolate in my house! :-)

I'm excited to participate this time! Last year all my stuff was packed up for our move.

It feels so strange to be living away during all this. And we were just there, too! That's why I missed DTGD! We were in Houston and Port Arthur visiting.
Really looking forward to this as I was so busy during DTGD that I didn't get to participate as much as I would have liked. I have been eating differently this year so I have some good recipes to share too! I put one up this morning for those who still have gardens that are producing veggies. We found this recipe in April and have been eating it almost weekly through the summer! Off to get ready for Saturday errands which includes buying a new washer and dryer as ours both died on us in the same week. :( We have mounds of laundry piling up too. Bleh.

We must be sisters! I've eaten my share of chocolate chips, which is why I buy milk chocolate chips now! And I will not buy nuggets until I need them, however I've been know to tear a project apart for the chocolate and then make another!

I snack on dark chocolate chips and just found a bigger bag to buy!! I was one happy camper! Dark chocolate chips and some grain free granola and a cup off coffee in the afternoon and I'm good to go!!!
But nuggets on hand will be a different story...oh boy!!
I need to get myself back into stamping (just doesn't happen much in the summer...) so I'm not starting at the ground trying find my creative mojo. Yikes!

We must be!! Love, love, love dark chocolate!
I bought two bags of nuggets last year for FF, because they were on the shopping list, but sadly never used them for a challenge...they became my fortification to keep going!

Oooo, dark chocolate chips and granola for a snack! That's a wonderful idea!! Will add the granola to my shopping list! :-) (And granola is, like, a healthy snack, right??) :-)

LOL, I think it is! I go for things with protein. I'll share the recipe I found on the recipe thread it just a bit!
I can't gear up for this until sons wedding is over. 16th.....today I held a bridal shower. I bought some mixed nuts and added mini m&ms. Yum! Still snacking in them.

Granola is such an easy recipe to make...doesn't take long to bake, cool and then start eating!
I like mine with banana and milk...yum...

Thanks for sharing the granola recipes! (Can I substitute cranberries for the cherries in the bar recipe? I'm not a fan of cherries...lol!) This sounds great--and much better than the store-bought ones out there, I'm sure! I'll have to give them both a try.

I like bananas with anything! :-)
And I suppose it would be much healthier to have a bag of granola to snack on during Falliday Fest, instead of a bag of nuggets..... :-) :-)

Grrrr...my son...eats all my milk chocolate chips. That's ok, but he forgets to put it on the (grocery) list! So I go to bake, no chocolate chips!

Granola is really flexible so you can sub nuts or fruits as you wish usually and dried cranberries and cherries are pretty close so I am sure you'd be fine on the bars.
