Challenge Title: Picking Up The Pieces! Hostess: bejoyce aka Barbara Keyword: FF17bejoyce Date: 10/11/2017
We're about a third of the way through the month, and I know you've been busy at work, stamping, cutting, pasting, and creating beautiful cards ! Yay, you! And if you're like me, there are some leftover pieces lying on your craft table, right? Well, I'm here to help you tidy up!
My challenge is "Picking Up The Pieces." Translation: make a card using bits and pieces that you find lying around your craft table.
Huge thanks and big hugs to my sample makers, Ann, Dina, Holly, Chrissy, Patty, Lisa, Lydia, Teresa, Kathy and Shannon. Your cards are beautiful!
I can't wait to see YOUR creations!

Ack! One of my goals this time was to tidy up each evening! Okay, then. I'll do Lee's challenge and the turkey first, leaving stuff to glean for this one...

My table, the piles were sliding off last night when I finished Bev's challenge card... So I cleaned. ( but, I did leave out the piles of extra backgrounds I have created) so, I don't really have bits and pieces but, I can use those backgrounds??
I had trouble deciding what pieces to use from my craft table - there are so many pieces left from all of the Falliday challenges I've done so far! finally settled on a piece from the dendritic challenge! FF17 Left Overs by artystamper at Splitcoaststampers

Leftovers from previous projects count, right? Even if they weren't left out, on my work surface? yet another luminary box Oh, and the cs from yesterday's color challenge hadn't yet been re-filed.

Oh no! This one is going to be difficult for me to do. I clean up my stamping desk after every card/project... so there are no pieces there to use.
OK, easy-peasy, Jeanette. Make a few cards for other challenges, but resist the urge to clean up. Then use some of the debris from those projects for my challenge. You've got plenty of time to get all your cards posted. Have fun!

I'm like Jeanette, I clean a lot as I go but found some rejected backgrounds and a little bow. And, in a way the card was a leftover, as I'd used a RAK image to make a card for the card drive which didn't really fit any challenge - and then got a spot of ink on the image panel and had to pull it off. So the rest of the base was sitting there...

Attaching a photo of the card that didn't make it, I'd even photographed it and everything. Grrr.
Sabrina, I'm so sorry about your struggle. I love the card that didn't make it. I don't see a problem with her face. But I love the one that made it into the gallery, too!

So many scraps to choose from, I don't know who keeps loading up my desk with so much stuff Great challenge, Barbara. Some day I will be an organized person. Probably not any time soon though!
Since I clear my worktop after each card making session, the parts and pieces go into small bins....sometimes multiple days make their way into the same bin....so for this challenge I just grabbed the bin closest to the worktop and starting playing....When the dust settled and the adhesive ran out, I had 15 mostly CAS cards ready and the bin was empty except for a lone silver oval(I threw it into another bin to await another day). The photo shows 3 of my favorites from today.

Card Sketch Challenge 1-227 done only 396+ to go to be caught up!!!!!
This card took me longer that many of the others. I think it's because I had so much to choose from on my table, I couldn't decide what to use! lol But this rose panel had been on my desk for a long time! FF17bejoyce - Winter Rose by pvilbaum at Splitcoaststampers

Oh, it was fine when I took the photo. She had her accident after I brought her back upstairs to stamp a sentiment on the inside as per the card drive requirements. I think that some wet red pencil shavings that were still on the stencil from Dina's challenge got onto her face.
Thanks for this great Challenge. I think everyone has enough scraps to create lots of cards !
I went with the negative of my masking oval and i like the clean and simple look.
This is a wonderful challenge- scooped up the fall colored strips from my desk, attached them diagonally, and dry embossed them. Went with a holiday theme. Here's FF17Bejoyce Beary Christmas
