Challenge Title: Block Party
Hostess: SimplyBeautiful aka Ceal
Keyword: FF17Simplybeautiful
Date: Friday Oct. 13, 2017
So excited to be hosting another Falliday challenge, this season is my favorite with all the colors of fall, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Which means parties and lots of them, which gave me the idea for my challenge of Block Party. My challenge is use an acrylic block to make a background on your project.
For my sample I used the Stampin Up H block which is a long skinny rectangle.
A special thank you shout out to my sample makers
Holly, Chrissy D, Lisa, Dina, and Ann

I love the fall colors! I could use them all year around! This was a fun challenge. I have a second generation panel to use for another card.

I used the wavy acrylic block and Distress Oxide inks for the background strip. The sunflower and sentiments are from the Hero Arts Sept kit.

I liked how my blocked sheet turned out so, I wanted it to peek through vellum...
( I had a glue failure) but, its still cool, I will just have to sew it later
thanks for this challenge Ceal,
