Challenge Title: Abundant Blessings
Hostess: stamp_momma aka Lori
Keyword: FF17StampMommaA
Date: October 8, 2017
Things feel so heavy lately.... can I get an amen?
If you are like me, crafting is my peaceful, content and blessed place. And, I'm not talking about physical space, though I do love my room, but I am talking about that "place" where I recall special memories, favorite people and dream... count and consider my gracious abundant blessings!
Your challenge is to create a Christmas, Thanksgiving or autumn card using the word blessing. When you share your card, let us know what Blessings you've encountered in the last 30 days! There is always something to be grateful for... I am grateful for the blessing of sharing this hobby with all of you! Paper crafting has brought me growth as an artist, work in a field I love and an abundance of friends that are like family...

I had to go searching for a stamp with blessings. Thank goodness my mom gave me some new stamps to play with for my birthday to include one for this challenge. Super fun, thank you for hostessing this year. Here is my card:
What a great challenge! My blessings for the last 30 days include celebrating our 28th wedding anniversary with a steak dinner at home, and going to the NW WA shoebox card event yesterday As for my card, I dry embossed my background with a hard wood ef, and used bare branches and leaves dies for more texture. My main panel is a die cut circle, and my images are from SU's Harvest Home. Here's Season of Blessings

My biggest blessing in the past 30 days was the fact that I (and my extended family) suffered no significant damage due to Hurricane Irma. No power for a while and loss of food in the fridge, but all houses are still standing!
This challenge got me to ink-up two brand new stamp sets (embarrassing how many new sets are on my desk right now that haven't seen ink) and try a new technique with my MISTI.
This is my first for Falliday. I like to make multiple Christmas cards using the same stamp or di - so I will probably be back here often! Thanks, Lori, for the challenge, and for the reminder that we are truly blessed.
Here is my card for this challenge. I am grateful I have a big enough collection of stuff that I could actually find a stamp with the word "blessings" on it. ;)
Thanks for a fun challenge!! A recent blessing for me was that my inlaws bought us a new pc for home when they heard mine was crashing and that I was having trouble working at home. What an awesome surprise that was!!
It is always great to stop and count our blessings. My family would be at the top of the list: my parents celebrated their 66th anniversary, my in-laws their 59th and our 36th in the last month! Our children and 5 grandchildren are a huge blessing to us as well. The simple things in life are often taken for granted so here is my card:
Heres my card for the challenge. Always good to be reminded to count our blessings! My Lord, my family, my health are the top 3 that come to mind today.
Here's my blessings card. One of my blessings is my friend Alice who I met through volunteering in a nearby school. She will turn 80 this month and I am very blessed to know her and count her as a dear frined.
My blessings in the last thirty days.....my oldest passed her driver's exam, my husband took a week off work, my older two run cross country and we LOVE going to the meets!!
