Metallic accents on cards can add a touch of elegance. They can make a holiday card sparkle or a thinking of you card special.
Challenge: Use gold or silver circles in any form on your project. Try adding stamped circles, embossed circles, die cut circles, heat embossed or hand drawn, etc....just make sure your circles are gold, silver, or both!
Remember to use at least two or more different mediums on your project. See this postfor some ideas. Also make sure to put MIX245 in the keyword section
This sounds like such fun. As always I really appreciate the early post... although alas I am just about to leave for a day out with DH using up the last of his annual leave. So I don't think I'll get to play till tomorrow, but I'll enjoy thinking. Actually, I think I'm halfway there with a rescued piece from my spray box!
Perfect, I just opened a bottle of vinegar that had a metal seal and of course I saved it to use "someday!"
Gail I love hearing this....using "found" materials is awesome for Mixed Media projects. I used a plastic lid (saved from an oatmeal canister) to stamp some large circles on my card. It wasn't a perfect circle but it added a little something unique. ;)
Polly, I don’t recognize you since changed your avatar! When people so that it always takes me a while! LOL. Nice one, though.I like your challenge, and will try this week to do it. N
Had fun using a silver and silver sparkly circle for my card- adding to the sparkle with stickles on my fussy cut elements. Made "falling snow" with hairspray and talcum powder. Here's Snowy Day
