Challenge title: MIX242 - Sticky atmosphere

I have a fun technique for you today - and it's all about atmospheric watercolor. I actually invented a technique that I'm in love with for creating an atmospheric look with stamped images, Versamark and powdered watercolor. If you don't have powdered watercolor, don't worry - you can get an atmospheric look using dye ink as well - just experiment. However, remember that if you're using dye ink, you'll need to add another medium!
Ack!! I do have powdered colour pigments as well as Brushos and bisters - I was using them today in my MIX "substitute" card. I'm done stamping for the day, though, and we're out all day tomorrow and with company overnight when we got home. Maybe some other time...
I'm unable to view the video from your link above, would it be possible to get a link to the video I could try, please? Thanks!!!
Ooh, nvm, I got it, I just went to your YouTube channel, Lydia! Looks like fun, I don't have powdered watercolors, so I'm trying to think of how I'd use dye inks instead, or what I could do to mimic that effect, which is so stunning!

Leslie, you can achieve some of that yummy atmospheric look by stamping your image with ink (other than black) then spritz your paper with water. The ink will move around. Once the ink has dried stamp over the top in black to bring back the design. It will be a bit different from the powders but similar. There might be other ways to use the ink too but this is the first way that comes to mind.
I couldn't watch the video so went to YouTube, but, then it wasn't in color. None of my you tubes are in color. What could cause that? I can see the thumb nail in color. hmm.
Thank you Lydia for the new to me technique. I want to try it again for a card.
