Sheesh, I'm not sure I've ever started a thread in GST before!! It's the 15th today, so it's time for some new "Dirty" girls and an inspiring new gallery from our design team for all our Fan Club members to enjoy.
Jeanne is out of reliable internet range so I'm standing in for her on this pre-reveal chat thread. I'll be back at 11.00 Central time, with the new gallery opening at noon. Come along and join the chat.
Good Morning, girls. Let's get this guessing game started. I know there will be some beautiful cards popping up soon.

Hmmmmmm....orange, huh? Well, I haven't nosed around to find out who these girls are but I do know the name of one of them, if I'm not mistaken. Hope Thing 1 and 2 will join us soon.

I don't think it's letting any cats out of a bag to say there was a hiccup this month so we have Thing 2 all on her own - and the rest of the team pulling together to make sure it's still a full and fabulous gallery. I saw an elephant...let me go see what else was in there.
Plenty of gorgeous autumn leaves. And Thing 2 tried a recent Inkling tutorial which I am looking forward to trying soon because DonnaJeanne sweetly sent me some coffee filters.
Shall I ask where I think she is from? It may give it away.

@ Cheryl - grins, I had to set an alarm because it's not a time I normally am free at. I've told DH I won't be starting dinner till 6 our time.
It might give it away, Brenda. I think it's under her avatar. But I must say that when I think of the town where she lives, I don't actually think America at all ;-). I think Africa.
For sure, I know who it is and she has two little boys.

Yeppers, she does indeed...and I'm just going to nip downstairs and take a photo of my MIX230 catch-up card. That was a fun one which I missed while we were on holidays.
Yes, Sabrina, you are right.....Sierra Leone. Never thought of that. And, what an adorable avatar she has....I smile every time I see it.

Ha, snap Sabrina - me too! Possibly because I went to university in a town twinned with it!
Hello from sunny Portugal. We've just got back from a boat trip and a lazy lunch. Same time zone as you though I think, Sabrina.
Yes, Portugal is the same as us - Windows time settings offer Lisbon and GMT as one and the same. I hope you're enjoying some lovely sunshine there, and good wine.
And my manager in work explained to me why Spain is different but I can't remember. Something to do with the war and Franco allying himself with Hitler, I think.
Ooh, Joanne, a boat trip and lunch sounds awesome. Reminds me I am hungry. Got to find something to eat when we get this girl settled into the Dirty Girls.

Both wine and food, thanks  Not the place to be if you're not keen on fish I imagine but luckily we're more than happy with sardines, salt cod etc!

I have a Portuguese co-worker. She spent hours one day recently making a traditional salt-cod dish for her housemates - and said never again, she'll appreciate more how much work it takes when her granny makes it. Actually DH is not a fish-eater at all but he seems to have survived his 3 trips to Portugal (all without me) unscathed.
There is such a gorgeous card in the gallery from Fran with a great sentiment - Life may not be the party we had hoped for but while we're here we might as well dance.

Yes, I think to do salt cod dishes properly takes a lot of soaking and water changes! Pork seems popular as well so maybe your hubby has gone that route on his trips here (we're non meat eaters).
I did not know that about Thing 2 - competitive spelling or you just know from experience?

I know because she told Jeanne :-). Yes, I guess good spelling is something that's important to you in your job too. And I spotted a typo this morning when I was looking at the recent Chameleon color-tops product review.
River boat or sea boat, Joanne? My aunt went on a cruise down the Duoro last year and loved it.
River boat - your aunt probably did a bigger trip but we were also on the Duoro - just an hour up river from Pinhao and then the hour back again. Lovely day and spectacular scenery!
I'm not a person photographer, landscapes strictly. But I often think I would love to take a photo of my sweet MIL, at the age of 92 she certainly epitomises this new DD gallery title.

That sounds beautiful. And without the risk of rough seas that an Atlantic trip would have.
Ooh, Sabrina! I sure hope it wasn't me!! Eek! I spot errors a mile away...but when you've read and re-read something you've written, it's easy to miss one.
I've just found a gorgeous elephant on Yupo paper in the gallery.
You're not kidding. I just looked to see what job she has...needs math, for sure.
