IC614 - Design Seeds {09-09-2017}
This week it's all about color and photography as we are inspired by Design Seeds! I am sure that the colors and photography there will inspire new styles, techniques and creative paper innovations in our gallery this week! I don't have an internet connection today so I had to post this from my phone, but I will definitely be joining you as soon as it is resolved. Until then I am having a ball selecting color palettes for my card and handmade journal projects! It's been so much fun working on a color journal which I will share with you soon! Enjoy!
Goals:
Please don't be tempted to upload a card that you have made prior to this challenge, just because it looks like an image on the site. Rather, take the real challenge of allowing your creative juices to flow again, and creating something brand new for the gallery!
Use the keyword: IC614 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words. Include your inspiration image in the description of your project being sure to only include links from the Design Seeds site.
IC614 Gallery
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many, or too little, images to choose from, I've uploaded 10 of my favorite designs! So just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. Click on the images below to see them bigger and to get their links on SCS.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.

IC614 Spooky Treat
Audrie- inspired by your picture choice 2 of 10 with browns, greys and creams- I created this spooky scene, using my new impression obsession dies- bat, fence, sentiment- combined with a direct to paper ink swiped background of parchment paper. Here's Spooky Treat

Great inspiration, GREAT challenge...I found a lovely color palette to use for my son's musical, jazz birthday card here: Coffee+hues. Here is my finished card: Birthday Jazz for Youngest Son!
