TLC654 ~ Everything Old Is New Again: Speedy Cards For Good Causes ~ {9/4/17}
Hello Technique Lovers!
I have felt for many days now, that I wanted to do a challenge whereby the results could be used specifically for a good cause.
Each first Monday, Sabrina and I take turns revisiting an old TLC Challenge to give it new life. And while the one I have chosen, isn't really a "technique" per se, it is an old TLC, so I am still following our rules
I am choosing TLC121: Speedy Cards For Good Causes. The original challenge was to send a card that could easily be duplicated to someone in the Need a Lift Forum. You may certainly do that, but let's also think of others that maybe need a lift, or a word of cheer. We have several SCS forums for that, and many in our own communities, and outside of our communities that could be encouraged by your beautiful art. I know so many of you already do this on a regular basis.
Keyword: TLC654 (You may also add TLC121 if you wish).
This is perfect! I have been building up a stash of cards for a new Celebrate Recovery ministry starting up at our church next week. I will be in charge of keeping in touch and celebrating with the folks who attend so this will be a good challenge for me.

Maybe more like ten to fifteen minutes (this came in just under fifteen) but I think with a production line going and a tidy desk, it would be very quick to produce a dozen of these. And I did want to end up with something I'd be happy sending ;-). I guess really I should have gone for something using DP, but I like to get a little inky. And now it's time to leave for work, so that's it for today...
Fun challenge which I combined with today's CAS. I'm fast with "watercolors" so the shading took very little time....mostly just plain ol' stamping. Thanks.

Here is my card for this challenge. Not sure how long this card took me to make, 'cause I kept getting interrupted this morning...sigh...DH needs to get a hobby or two, now that he's retired! :-)

Great challenge! I went with a vintage fall set, doing simple coloring and stamping. Added 4 fall leaves with my leaf punch. This card would be easy to make in batches. Here's thankful thoughts
