First business of the day: celebrating our favorite from last week:
Pam was our hostess and she picked Lv2grdn's (aka Jeannie) cardhere.
This is what she said about Jeannie's card: "Love the wonderful background texture on Jeannie's card and how she added color to the embossing. The flower was gorgeous and the framed texted behind the flower was a wonderful added dimension. She even had the dessert and used sequins!"

Maura- such a cool color combo! I used SU's A Happy Thing for my fussy cut images, using an embossed frame and adding a triple ribbon treatment. Used a bright green post it for my birthday sentiment. Here's CC649 love life

Thank you for the great color combination. Since it seemed like it could go in any direction I pulled out a word set to play with. Just as I was posting I realized I had forgotten to check the dessert. Lucky for me the set was all about birthdays!

Love challenges - especially with cards (and scrapbooking). These colours in particular were, at least for me because they took me out of my comfort zone of how I could combine them. So thank you.
