Default Anyone have problems with Scrap-Mart.com???

I placed an order for some Copics and when the order did not come after several days I called last week. (My first order was received in just a few days) The girl said the order never got printed but they would send it right out. I got a shipping notice that it was shipped on April 7 but when I enter the tracking number nothing comes up. It says they were notified of shipping but not that it was actually shipped. I've tried calling and the number is busy..constantly busy. I'm getting worried.

Wondering if anyone has had a bad experience with Scrap-Mart.com

I order from scrap mart at least twice a month. . I have never had a problem with them. They are usually super fast with their shipping. Hope you get it resolved okay.

This is very unusual. I have NEVER had a problem with Scrap-mart and I have ordered from them numerous times during the past year. They are one of my favorite companies!! Scrap-Mart and Oozak are tops in my opinion

Some times you need to copy the tracking number and actually past it into the actual Post Office site. The tracking companies like Endrica ( sp) are not always accurate.

Try calling again . The couple of times I needed to call they always answered the phone right away.

When things are shipped the USPS the tracking is just for the delivery confirmation, it's a bonus if they actually scan it all the way through the transit time. Also, if they had just printed the label you will not see anything until the next day.

They have great prices.

The only problem I have ever had with them was how the shipment was packed. They have bent the clear plastic packaging on Spellbinder dies to force them into smaller packages...another time crammed stuff into priority cardboard envelopes instead of using one of the boxes, which I felt put my dies at risk for bending. I was pretty unhappy with that. I did call and tell them. It's been half and half since.

But aside from bad packing...the service has been good.

I have always gotten a confirmation email of a purchase. If you dont get one, I would definitely call them...

You said it shipped April 7th-was that month a typo? Because if it has been 8 months since the order I would be very surprised at them, though stuff happens. I'd also be very angry now.

If you can't get through with phone number, they have an email info, try that.

I am having trouble getting in touch with them too. I have been ordering from them for 8 years and never had a problem until now.

I got my order and something is missing. Last Thursday I called the San Antonio # and got an answering machine . but no reply. then I tried the Oklahoma number and that said the mail box was full and could not accept any new messages. Then I wrote an email.

So far no response to any of my contacts . I wonder if some thing is wrong there . This is not like them . They have always had great customer service.

I realize this is an old thread but, as to the recent posts: is it possible that they are out of the office and gone to CHA?

Maybe you are correct and that is why they have not responded . I think CHA is Jan 9-12, correct? I started trying to contact them last Thursday. That would have been the day before CHA began.
As I said in the past 8 years they have always had great Customer Service so this is unusual.

Oh! I didnt realize about the dates! Thanks!

It is very common for exhibitors to be there early to set up the booth by a couple days. Maybe it will be ok again a couple days past CHA. (I have worked conventions though not in stamping)

I didn't check the dates, but that sounds right. But I probably would head out for something like that a day or two ahead of time. If it actually starts Friday, it would not have surprised me if they have registration starting the day before, for you to pick up your badges, schedules, and other paperwork.

Regardless, though, I hope that's all it is and that they get back to you soon!

Unless I missed it I did not see Scrap-Mart on the list of exhibitors for CHA. So far I am still waiting for a reply .:(

I left a message with Scrap Mart again today and they got back to me. She apologized for the delay in responding and said they have been so over whelmed with orders she could not respond until now. She is mailing my missing stamp set today.

To the person who was waiting for a response from them I could suggest leaving another message to call you

FYI-- I received the missing stamp from my order from Scrap Mart. I had told them it was missing and they sent it with no quibbling . She could see on their inventory one set was not mailed that had been ordered .
They still have great customer service .

Default Scrap Mart Problems

I know this thread is really OLD but the problems with Scrap-Mart are still the same. I don't understand what's going on with them. I placed an order almost 2 months ago and nothing has been shipping nor have I heard from them. I've tried calling many times but their voicemail is full so you can't leave a message. I've emailed at least 4 times and have not gotten an answer. I finally had to go to my bank and open a dispute (since they took my money!). I've been ordering from them for years so I can't imagine why they aren't responding.

Hope no one else is having problems with them.

Default Scrap-mart issues

i know scrap-mart and justrite is still selling and teaching in the expo show circuits. They were just at the SE Schaumburg show last weekend. The relationship is Howard Doss owns scrap-mart and justrite and his girlfriend Jane Pfeiffer was the owner of Scrap2u before they merged. Howard Doss has not been at shows since May or June ish but Jane Pfeiffer has been taking over from the shows since then. She's very active on Scrapbook Expo Facebook pages from the different locations to promote the mydieclub.com and diedeals.com. People will do anything to make a buck and its wrong on what they are doing. I'd probably look her up on Facebook to get the orders or money back.

Does Scrapmart have a website? I Googled and only camp up with scrap metal sites.

It's scrap-mart.com (with a hyphen) but the site is unavailable.


Folks might want to consider emailing the Stamp & Scrapbook Expo folks. They're terrific at responding to emails and want to do right for their show-goers and paid volunteers (I've been a volunteer for a couple of years), and if enough people write maybe they'll approach/embarrass Scrap-Mart/Just Rite into taking action. Of course they're not responsible, but it can't hurt.


You can dispute charges through your credit card company, though there's a time limit.

(I took a class from Jane; it was very good, and I had no idea about the problems, other than a stamp that was supposed to be distributed wasn't available, so you could choose one they did have or put your name on a list to be sent one. I lucked out sitting in the front row; the instructor gave me one of the few they had, and don't know what happened after that.)


I hope this gets resolved for all of you. Not fair.

OMG, thank you so much for the information!!! I have filed a dispute with my credit card company but Scrap-Mart claimed they shipped my order. They DID NOT so I escalated the claim and Scrap-Mart has until October to respond or my credit card company will reverse the charge. It's sad that such a good company can treat long time loyal customers like this and I hope not many of us got ripped off!!!

What's sad is you can purchase these dies for just a few dollars on Ebay and Amazon (unbranded dies from China). Search for DIY dies on Ebay and you'll see all of the dies they sell (claiming the original cost is $24!!!). It's understandable businesses need to make money but come on! What she's doing is taking advantage big time!!!

GO TO EBAY - Search for DIY cutting dies (same dies that Mydieclub.com and diedeals.com are selling for 4 x times the amount of money
