CC648 Delight in Wild Fresh Fig with Vanilla 8/15/17
HelloColorLovers!
It is Pam hosting this weeks color challenge. We are continuing the challenges with the Stampin Up In Colors!
Let's start with the fave from last week. BARBARA was our hostess, and she chose Heather's(justampin) So Berry Pearty. Barbara said, "Heather's white embossed flowers and leaves, watercolored with such an artistic flair, then fussy cut, are the star of this beautiful card. The die-cut frame shows off the So Saffron layer with perfection. Happy 87th Birthday to your sweet Mom, Heather."
Congratulations, Heather! The code to add the badge to your blog is attached below, and your card also will be pinned on our Pinterest Challenge board. Check it out HERE.
And now, back to this week's Challenge. This week's colors are:
Daffodil Delight Wild Wasabi
Fresh Fig Very Vanilla
The dessert option this week Sequins
Here are some samples from our design team to inspire you:
Please keep in mind, that while we list SU colors for the challenges, these are just color reference points. Use the closest colors you have. We want everyone to be able to play!!!
Please put CC648 in your keywords section (and if you have more than one challenge, use a comma to separate them) so we can find your card.

What a huge, and I mean huge surprise to see the message from Mary this morning that Barbara picked my card as the card of the week. I am truly honored. I have started my card but it's not finished yet. I have to get ready for work. Be back later to post the finished card.

Pam- great colors, thanks! I went with a coffee themed card, adding a ribbon tie and for my "dessert"- a magenta jewel and a pearl (closest I could get my mitts on today). Here's Coffee for 2

Read this challenge first thing this morning before rushing out the door, forgot the Daffodil Delight so added yellow sequins, hope this counts. Thanks Pam for this challenge. Here's mine:
I am so embarrassed! I looked at last weeks colors thinking it was this week's. No wonder I didn't see the vanilla on there! Should I move my card to last week's challenge gallery?

Here's my take.
I subbed white for the vanilla b/c my dsp background was white. Unfortunately, my fig looks black in the picture. I hope you like it!
I'll be back tonight to cruise the gallery...gotta run errands & complete chores.
Pam, you picked a beautiful color combination for the color challenge. I used colors closely related, and added a sequin in the middle of three yellow flowers. Thanks, Pam!! Hugs!
