Heart Tim Holtz stamping platform

I am having trouble getting my Stampin Up rubber stamps to stick to the plate of the press. My photopolymer stamps work well but the rubber stamps fall off onto my cardstock which is frustrating. Does anyone have any tips to help me please ?I have put the image stickers on the back of the stamps but was wondering if I need to peel these off to make them work better with the stamping platform ?

Since so many people have reported problems with getting the stamps to stick to regular acrylic blocks once those index stickers have been used, I wouldn't be surprised if the same holds true with the platform. Many people simply don't bother with the stickers for this reason. Some people trim off a small margin round the edge of the stickers before applying them, so that there is still some of the clingmount with no sticker covering it to adhere to the block. Some people add a little Tack It Over And Over...that's what I did with the couple of sets I got on eBay which already had the stickers applied. I've done the same thing with the Stampendous cling ones too, as I have the same issue with them.Do your stamps stick alright to your usual acrylic blocks?

I agree with Sabrina........those stickers have proven to be quite useless for me too. On some of my stamps that I had put them on they even started to curl up.........that did make it easy to take them off. I don't bother with them anymore.......just leave them in the case in the event that I want to give them away down the road.

A friend just sent me this tip for keeping the clear mount stamps affixed to acrylic blocks. Should work for the MISTI too.

Wow Carla. i am going to try that. I have the same issue with Stampendous as well as SU. They read that once here and offered to exchange it and I had to decline-too many stamps! The ones with the extra clear plastic border around it-like the house mouse.

I am wondering if it will work for storage too. Hmm.
