Here is the thread for the Christmas Card Challenge for October 2017!
October is here, the leaves are changing colors and we need to really get moving if we are behind on our cards!
I suggest we make our own backgrounds for our cards and place ornaments or candles on our lovely backgrounds!!
Use embossing, heat or dry, the ombre technique, northern lights technique, stamp a background, be creative and do your favorite thing for your background, but remember to use a candle or an ornament somewhere on your card!
Please leave us a link to your card and make sure to use CCC17OCTin the title and in the Keywords!
Reminder, this is just a suggestion to help get you motivated and start on your 2017 Christmas Cards!
There is no 'deadline' to completing your Christmas cards for October, post anytime!
It's never too late to join....
You can join anytime during the year! If you need to skip a month or two, that is perfectly fine!
Used the shaving cream technique twice for VSN and used it to make Christmas Cards which fit into making your own background, so it works here as well.
Here's one for me. I heat embossed the ornament with glitter embossing powder. Pleas visit my blog for a closer look at all that shimmer! Christmas Shimmer
I hope this card qualifies for the October Christmas card challenge...it is an ornament, and I did make the alcohol ink background for the ornament... :-)

Christmas Cardinals,CCC17OCT
Here is my card for the CCC17OCT, Christmas card monthly challenge.
I hope I did this right. It has been a while, since I loaded a card. I used all die cuts, and some frosted lace stickles, and traditional Christmas colors of cs. This was a fun easy card to make. tfs.

I have made tons and tons of Christmas cards since ( when ever I last linked or keyword ed any) (will work on that, some never made it in the gallery yet either)
but, here is one from today that uses a background ( peeking through the die) that I did
