This week we're off to the islands! We have an amazing Pinterest board full of Tropical Inspiration by France Seattle and her co-pinners! An unbelievable gallery of over a thousand amazing tropical images and photos! I found this board inspiring for my paper creations, but also for my vacation planning! Enjoy!
Goals:
Please don't be tempted to upload a card that you have made prior to this challenge, just because it looks like an image on the board. Rather, take the real challenge of allowing your creative juices to flow again, and creating something brand new for the gallery!
Use the keyword: IC609 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words. Include your inspiration image in the description of your project being sure to only include links from our inspiration board: Tropical Inspirations by France Seattle and her co-pinners.

For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many, or too little, images to choose from, I've uploaded 10 of my favorite designs! So just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. Click on the images below to see them bigger and to get their links on SCS.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.
Audrie I didn't know if I was going to be able to do this one, as I have not one single tropical thing. But I saw this pillow and thought "Okay I can do this!" Giggles.

Here is mine! Unfortunately, I glued my Tiki guy upside down. So I tried to hid it with leaves. The alcohol ink duoprinting turned out so pretty that I tucked the second panel next to my card!
Audrie, this board will keep my imagination going for quite awhile. It will also add to my bucket list Thanks for the inspiration. Here's my card DTGD17Ashjoy Tropical Paradise.
What a gorgeous gallery to choose from! Here's my card.

Audrie- a truly relaxing and inspiring board! I was drawn to the woven rugs and used a penguin for my central image. The colored background is from a stamping friend- added some texture with a sting/twine/button combo. Here's Tropical Penguin
