MMTPT471~August 1 2017~Ring that Bell and Blow that Horn
Welcome to Teapot Tuesday
the Sisterhood of the Traveling Teaparty
and Challenge #471
Ring That Bell and Blow That Horn
Note: Anyone is welcome to play! You automatically become a Teapotter the first time you play in our challenge. Also, you do not have to write a story. You just have to be inspired by the teapot or by the story about this week's location! Have fun! If this is your first Teapot Tuesday Challenge, please mention that in your commentary so we can be sure to greet you properly, in pure Teapot Tuesday fashion! Your participation in Destination Station is 100% voluntary and not at all required. Just have fun!
The Rest of the Story:
1: Ring!! Ring!! Honk!! Hong!! WHOooooHOOoooo!!! The fire bells can be heard for miles and miles. Have you ever wanted to ride on a fire engine? I have on good faith that it is so loud you can't hear yourself think let alone speak, but I still think it would be a great adventure. Anyone else wanna come along?
2: Well, we may not get a ride-along today but at least there will be plenty of fire trucks, police cars, and maybe even an ambulance (hopefully not neccessary for real) and I just know they are gonna let us sit in the trucks and maybe even turn on the sirens. Ooooh, it's gonna be a fun party.
3: This party is going to be the birthday party to end all birthday parties. We have gallons and gallons of lemonade, cakes, cupcakes and cookies galore, popsicles, pinatas, ring toss, slip and slides, and even a trick dog coming that jumps through hoops. Oh and lots of noisemakers!! These kiddos are sure to have the time of their lives (and hopefully sleep well tonight) helping celebrate the birthday boys big day.
4: The banners are strung in the trees and across the yard, the wheelbarrels of ice are in place for popsicles and other cold treats, the waterguns are loaded and the targets set up. The firefighters and police should be showing up soon. The trick dog is here and busy getting petted by the birthday boy himself. So, now where are all the other kiddos. RUTROH!! After calls are made, it seems that the invitations didn't say which Tues the party would be!
5: Okay, teapotters, go round up those kiddos, bring their sisters and kid brothers too. We have some partying to do. Let's get to it!!
Challenge Translation:
Loyal dogs, fire engines, and loud bells will all be welcome this week, we need to protect the site of the wildest birthday party ever. So extra balloons, banners, and cake might be a good idea too, in case we run out.
Destination Station:
This week the teaparty bus is headed to FL. If you would like a destination for your card, how about sending it to Austin. He was brought to our attention by SCSr Sunshinesense
to find out why as well as get the address to mail your card, please visitpost 576 in the Teapot Tuesday Destination Station thread. Please remember that just because you participate in a Teapot Tuesday challenge that is combined with a card drive request, it does not mean that you are REQUIRED to send your cards. It is totally 100% voluntary!
Be sure to you use KEYWORD MMTPT471 in your upload and post a comment here so we can all see your card!
Ever want to get a jump on next week's challenge card? SCS has given Sheri (KSNurse) permission to create an email Teapot Tuesday Cheater Group and email the challenge out on the Saturday before the Tuesday of the challenge so you girls can have the weekend to make your card. Send her a pm with your email address if you wanna be a Cheater!
If you are confused about these challenges, see the first sticky post of this thread for more information. There is also a directory of individual challenges. __________________
