Default MFT Wonky Stitched Rectangle Die--sold out

I've been wanting this set for a few months, and every online store is sold out. I finally gave up and ordered from eBay. Anyone know why the backlog on this die set?

I've found this happens a lot with popular dies by MFT. I've waited for months to get a die from them. Seems like they reorder a small quantity of popular dies, and they sell out quickly. If I wait for notification they're sold out by the time I get the email. Checking their site nearly daily is how I've managed to get one that's hard to get. I've had the wonky die sets for a long time now, but it took me months to get them all. Irritating!

It's probably a hold up at the manufacturer; for some reason, I have it in my head that there's like ONE company in the US making dies for the various companies.

My LSS sells a lot of MFT items and always has a problem getting enough of anything in a timely fashion. They, too, wish MFT would order a few more of everything each time they order.

Got my MFT wonky rectangles yesterday from an eBay seller. I did sign up for an alert from SSS when they are back in stock. I'll be interested to see how long that takes.

I feel your pain. I've been trying to get my hands on the MFT radiating rays and cloud stencil which have been going in and out of stock. Back in stock notifications have not been very helpful because by the time I get home from work to place my order, they're sold out again...everywhere.

MFT just came out with a small cloud stencil and I ordered it right away so I may just forego the large cloud stencil.

I also have trouble getting my hands on many of the MFT products. I usually buy from online Australian stores but they sell out quickly and it takes FOREVER for them to get new stock in. It is not the store's fault as I have emailed them in the past about why it takes so long for MFT products but apparently if it's out-of-stock in the USA, it takes a really long time to get new stock here. In desperation, I have ended up buying some of them from US stores (the postage is a killer plus the Aussie$ to US$ exchange rate is bad) but it is months and months down the track because they too, have been out-of-stock. I have 'Back in Stock' notifications at multiple Aussie and US stores so usually when one is back-in-stock, I get it. Sometimes I have dawdled about whether I should buy it or not and bang, it's out of stock again and for months and months. It's very frustrating to say the least! I love their products but I don't want to wait for months to get my hands on them!

CottageCutz dies has just released new nesting dies that have the wacky stitching. They are 25% off right now. Here is a link to the site. They have a rectangle, square and circle dies with this stitching. Here is a card I made using the wacky stitched circle die.
