CAS (Clean and Simple) Favorites for Week Ending 6/18/17
It's my turn to start the thread this week. I don't know about your neck of the woods, but here in Chicagoland, summer weather has DEFINITELY arrived with a vengeance. It's thundering right now and the weather team says that these storms will usher in some decidedly more temperate weather for Father's Day and a good bit of next week. In any case, I'm grateful that I have air conditioning available at home, at work and in my car.
That being said, let's get this party started! Here are my CAS favorites from this past week:
F4A382 Happy Beerth Day by die cut diva I loved the classic layout and found it a perfect image for a guy card, whether for Father's Day, or his beerthday. And, if he's not a beer drinker, well then fill that puppy up with some golden gingerale!
Wish Big- CAS Watercolour Challenge by k dunbrook There is nothing I don't love about Karen's card - the layout is great, I LOVED the confidence of the silhouetted girl and I really liked the birds extending out from her focal panel.
CAS Bold Squares by jeanmanis Jean's die cut panels and color palette really came together for a striking card. (So striking that my wish list just got a little longer!)
With Sympathy by Zoie I can't call out one particular thing that caught my eye on this beauty. It was just a case that as soon as I laid eyes on it, there was no question that it was destined for my Favorites folder. FABULOUS sympathy card.
AJVD - Father's Day (Leaf) by Ardyth Ardyth always seems to have the most interesting layouts. I loved the wavy sentiment and her use of color to divide up her card visually.
Did you find your way to this thread because someone listed one of YOUR creations as a favorite? In addition to saying thank you, we encourage you to pay that smile you're probably wearing right now forward by sharing a few of the cards/projects YOU favorited this week.
Need help linking your Favorites? Follow these easy steps:
1. Load this week's Favorites thread in your first browser tab. Scroll down and click the Go Advanced button.
2. Open a second tab (or a separate window). Go to the Gallery and click on "My Favorites."
3. Click on a card you have saved. At the top, highlight the web address. Hit Ctrl+C to copy.
4. Switch back to the first tab and hit Ctrl+V to paste your link there. Hit Enter twice to add a blank line. Repeat as many times as needed for all your links.
5. Click the Preview Post button and check that your links work. Then click the Submit Reply button.
Thank you Debbie for starting the thread this week. Thank you Karen for volunteering your time to send the notifications to the wonderful CAS card crafters on this thread. We really appreciate the notifications and your time.
Thank you so much Shirl (shirlb19) for choosing my "F4A381 Looking for sea shells" card as one of you favorites
Thank you so much Karen for letting me know !
Thanks so much, Debbie, for including my "Going over a Stencil Twice" card - I'm honoured! And thanks, Karen, for the notification - a great way to start my day!
CAS433 Glorious & Free by Weekend Warrior - being Canadian and having the maple leaf on our flag, this card leapt out at me with its wonderful CAS design - so much like our flag
Thanks, Lisa for the shout out for my dangling art card.

Thank you so much for favoring my Sea Turtle card, Julia. To say I was stunned to see my card mentioned here would be an understatement! It really is an honor. Karen, thank you so much for letting me know, and Debbie for taking time to start this thread.
Just a few of the many, many cards I loved looking at in the gallery were:
Thank you Karen, so much for honoring my Graduation with Total Honors in CAS Favorites. I am excited...what an honor...my heart feels glad! I haven't been at my craft table much or computer because of total knee replacement. This was just one of two absolutely necessary cards I've made since surgery....therefore, I am tickled for it being Favorited, as it was a labor of love!!
My thanks also go to Debbie for hosted the CAS Favorites for the week ending June 8th. Without all the moderators help, where would we all be!
I will get back just a bit later with my favorites...after a peek at my computer.

Glad you are getting back to stamping Carlene...I just do the notifications and it was Pam post #27 who linked up your card.
happy stamping,
Karen
Thanks, Angie (grateful2besaved) for choosing my llama card, and Priscilla (catluvr2) for choosing my fish more card.
My day has been made.
Thanks, Karen, for letting me know.
I've been running nonstop since Sunday and am just checking back with SCS now. My life is settling down and I'm finally done switching to Evernote and clearing out my stash, so I can get back to making cards and browsing the gallery. Feels good.
