Here is the thread for the Christmas Card Challenge for May 2017!
For May, it's Stacy's outstanding idea to ink up that new stuff you hopefully received for Christmas 2016!
Hopefully you were good and received lots of goodies from Santa!! If you were on the naughty list and did not get any new stamps, use a stamp that hasn't seen ink in a while!!
Please leave us a link to your card and make sure to use CCC17MAYin the title and in the Keywords!
Reminder, this is just a suggestion to help get you motivated and start on your 2017 Christmas Cards!
There is no 'deadline' to completing your Christmas cards for May!
It's never too late to join....
You can join anytime during the year. If you need to skip a month or two, that is perfectly fine.
(and that is one of the reasons I pick the FS challenge to play in, you get a jump start and if you pick a card that is not a "Christmas one" that is instantly one of your 2 required changes right out of the way...
Feels funny to be starting out in May, but I was playing with some never inked stamps, so it fit the theme. And I need to try harder to keep up this year. Here are my first two Christmascards for the challenge.
Here are my May Cards. I had not used my Wrapped in Warmth stamp set, so I have met the challenge. I love making quilt-type cards. These were easy and fun to make.
It's hard to get Christmas cards made when I'm busy in the garden! Here's number 4 of 10 for May (I'm pretty sure I won't reach my quota this month!!).
I am SOOO far behind..life keeps getting in the way. Even though I didn't get around to posting my "Altered Christmas Cards" from March (or was it April?) I did manage to get at least one done so far for may...Here it is:
Just got a new Christmas stamp set. Made 5 cards using it. Here is a sample of what they look like. The ribbon with glossy accents didn't photograph to good.
Finally completed my cards for this month's challenge! My "new stuff" isn't stamps--I got some new embossing folders for Christmas, and used two of them on these cards--hope that counts!

I'm making cards for our church bazaar in December, and this is my prototype. Since Snowy is a new stamp for me, I decided that May was the right choice to upload!
