My 2 cents and fiskars truely stands by their product. All their customers service asked is for a picture of the damage product and in seven days I got a new punch in the mail . Didn't even have to send the broken one back. Sad to say much as I like EK Success I feel these newer punches that locks are not as stronger then their older made ones. I love SU and for the price I think they should replace like fiskars does and maybe many has had theirs replaced free. In my case my owl punch wasn't replaced free they offered to replace at a discount . And guess what? The new punch is doing the same thing , not cutting crisp lil circles like the one it replaced. The problem with the bad one was the same it kept getting stuck and the medium circles were cutting ragged. I also did all the tricks too. And had to keep doing the freezer one because it did help for a bit but had to keep doing it everytime it jammed and it start to become often. And my common sense finally won over about keep putting it in the freezer where it becomes moist and moisture to metal eventually over time rust will set in to metal. So I went ahead and took the sad deal because I love that owl punch so much . Hate to see it retire. Hope I didn't upset any demo or SU For be honest about how I feel about for the price we pay that replacement should be like fiskars. Providing it wasn't abuse that cause the product to broke but just basic malfunctions.
