MIX226 - Inkless

For today's challenge, instead of adding mediums - I'm taking one away!


So as usual, you need to use a minimum of two different mediums on your card, but the trick is - none of them can be our old standby - ink! Sentiments must be die cut, or you can leave sentiments off entirely. Mine is die cut, and my two mediums are watercolor and a shimmer spray on my die-cut hearts.


The die cut is cut twice - once from glimmer paper and once from black foam.


As always - we want you to have fun, and realize that mixed media doesn't have to be messy or intimidating, although inkless is truly a challenge!

I might have to check the colour-trueness of my photo later when the sun has gone in, it's unusually bright here today!! Great challenge for making me use up a "messing around" panel, thanks. I used watercolour, acrylic mists, luster rub-ons and expanding medium. Certainly made me think, no ink!

I am posting this here and on today's F4A. Can you do a card with out ink, stamps, dies or embossing but at least 2 media and 2 layers? I do many of my cards with out these. Will have some up late tomorrow. Today's Zoo volunteer day!

Are alcohol inks lumped in with inks? I first thought of "inkless" as just referring to no ink pads - now I'm wondering if alcohol inks are okay on a card for this challenge?
