I am still fairly new to posting on this site. I receive so many wonderful comments and think I should thank the people for taking the time to leave them. How do those of you who thank others do that?

If you want to thank a person who made a comment, look on the left side, and click on their screen name. A menu will drop down. Click on send a private message, and you will find a page to send the message to that person.

Thank You, Bugga. I will take the time to say Thanks with the PM.

When someone comments on your cards, you can go to their gallery, the same way as the previous poster said, go to their name on the left and click and go down to their gallery and find a card or cards to comment on......
An even quicker way to visit the gallery (or message) someone who has left a comment on a card. When in the gallery (unlike the forum) there's no need to click on the username and then click again to choose from the options: just look below the comment and you'll see four clickable options in a line before the next comment ~ Profile, PM, search and gallery.
To the original poster, it's sweet of you to want to say thank-you. Leaving a comment on one of their cards is generally considered as a thank you, but there are also those who don't have a gallery of their own and still leave comments for others, in which case a pm is your only option.

Sabrina, I cannot believe how unobservant I am! In all these years at SCS, I've never noticed those options below the comments! Thank you.
And to the original poster, yes, it is considered a nice thank you to leave a comment on the person's card who has left you a comment!

Wow....I am just as bad. I've seen them but never considered it! Thanks Sabrina!
While we are on the subject of ettiquette.....
I am a person that does not have a gallery so every so often I will get a PM thanking me. Am I supposed to say You're welcome? So they know I saw it and just because I would in person?

I wonder about this, too, Wave. We can get into the "thank you" for the "thank you", and go on and on....

If I sent a thank you to everyone who commented on my cards, I wouldn't have time to look at everyone else's cards! And I'm one who doesn't get many comments on my cards, so imagine those who get 30 or more comments per card! The best I can do is check out their cards and comment when I can. Thank you's are nice, but bugga is right, we will soon be sending thank you's for the thank you note!
I'm just thankful everyone shares their work, because most of my card ideas are from caseing people here! If I case someone, I add a note to my description telling who's card I cased. And caseing can kind of be a thank you!
My sweet adorkable stampin sisters! lol! I don't feel like I can say much about the thread itself, since I'm not in the gallery much, and when I've been able to get there and commented on a card, I've been surprised if there's a 'thank you' back, so not expecting it ... but you're all so kind and gentle, and just wanted to let you know how you've improved the quality of my day. thank you all!

LOLOL Exactly what I was thinking but IRL I would feel weird not to acknowledge it.
Ok...on here it is ok not to. Thanks! One small thing off the back of my mind list.
Thank You ladies. I wasn't sure of that was something people did here. I have learned several things from your comments.

Yes! This is the most common way along with PM - it's nice to get comments and it really can expose you to some amazing galleries you might have missed!
