I completed the first challenge. I don't normally scrapbook one photo, but all I had was one photo for this occasion so it worked perfectly! I had this paper pad and embellies for about two years and because of the bright colors wasn't sure when I was going to use it. (I received it in a swag bag at the Expo crop.) So here's my Variety A layout.

I used......
Lace ribbon
white and Blue bazzill cardstock
3 photos
4 pieces of bling
7 patterned papers ;)

We are now off to the airport to pick up the lovebirds (2nd son and fianc�e) arriving from San Francisco....yay. Then I hope to get onto #4 challenge.

Here's another LO completed. This one is for Challenge #4.

I found this challenge the hardest. There was plenty of inspiration in the photo but as I have already scrapped our son's school and most of his younger days, I wasn't sure what I could use.

The numbers inspired me and I knew I had a few photos I still wanted to scrap plus I had some numbered DP in my stash that could work. I can't believe where the time has gone and it reminded me of how precious time is.

Now onto Challenge#5 and I already have plenty of photos of our boy at various music concerts with his friends.......so like the ants, here I go marching back to my craft room, one by one, hurrah, hurrah

I completed the Variety B challenge. Using some photos from a Photo Booth at my SIL's 60th surprise birthday party. There are three embellishment clusters throughout the page and I used three main ingredients. Washi Tape, Enamel Dots and Patterned Paper Circle. It's in the gallery.

Phew, I got there even if it is 1st May here. Hopefully you all don't think I'm bad posting it under April, but I did start it 2 days ago

When you read my post on the process, again you will feel my pain. I really need to keep my LO's simple. I make work for myself LOL, but I do have fun

This 2 page LO is for Challenge #5 - Music. There was lots of inspiration in the song but I had to work with photos from music festivals our son has attended over the years. This one is "Sets On The Beach", an annual music festival where there's what me and my hubby call BOOM, BOOM, BOOM music, so that's where I got my inspiration from LOL.
