Happy Thursday, everyone! This Saturday people all over the world will be celebrating Earth Day. I thought it would be fun to join the celebration, so your challenge today is to use earthy themes and colors on your creation. The first thumbnail below is a color chart of earth tones to help inspire you. Now, let's get down to earth and Celebrate Earth Day!
After you upload your card with the keyword WT632, come back and share a link here - that makes it easy for people to find your card.
Thanks to Lisa, Carla, and Sabrina for their beautiful earthy creations!
Can't wait to see our beautiful earthy gallery!
If you're not sure how to add a link, here's how:
1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one for your card in the gallery, and one for this thread
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
Cathy - Thanks so much for the timely challenge! I needed a housewarming card for a party this weekend and this worked out perfectly for your theme. Here's my card:
Cathy this was a great idea for this challenge today!! It gave me a reason to use my earth die.

Here's a card I made for my hubs. Fits into the Earth Day theme even if all the colors don't exactly fit the match example. I am enamored with the skys the Lord paints us everyday and always wish I could come remotely close to something of His beauty. Though this is no where close to His creations, this is my favorite sky to date that I have managed. Thanks for looking!
I'm a little late to the party but I had to play along as Earth Day and the events we do as a family make this one of my special times in the year! Here's my take with a foresty woodland themed card, channeling the beautiful color panel:
Woodland Friends by MiamiKel4 - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers
In honor of the Earth Day and the wonderful sunny weather today- I made this card- it is inspired by how beautiful it is in Bozeman, Montana in the spring- lots of wildlife in the meadows- and I get to see it soon! I used my dimensional foam pads to provide a 3-D effect to my scene, in the frame and out of the frame! Added some woodsy effects with recycled dps and a woodsy dc panel for my sentiment. Here's happy spring
