Card request:
I am sending a card request on behalf of my dearest friend Paige. Paige has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer (never smoked in her life). She has a twelve year old daughter and husband. Paige had cancer in her early 20s...another type. This cancer could have come from the treatment, it could come from her band genes......her father died of cancer, and 7 out of 9 of his siblings have had a form of cancer or died from cancer. Either way, this has hit her family and friends hard. Paige is one of the rare , down to earth people, genuine, and honest to goodness people. I can't cure her cancer, there is no cure. I know she most likely won't live to see her daughter graduate from High School. Paige takes this all in, with the grace and courage I've never seen before. God has truly blessed her in that department.
I would love to send her cards of encouragement, prayers, just something to put a smile on her face...silly cards that say hello....whatever.
