Here's my layout for challenge #3 - Stash Busters! Since my scanner wasn't working, I had to photograph my layout, so I apologize for the quality of the photo.

For some reason, I can't see the inspiration photo, though. Maybe it is my iPad, I will try my laptop later.

Great ideas for VSBN! The first one will be a huge challenge for me! ONE picture! Oh gosh, I'm gonna have to put on my thinking cap and force myself out of my boundaries since I tend to cram in as many as possible! Ha! Great push for me, Cheryl! But, the ant song will be stuck in my head all day! AAaahhhhhh! ��������
Here is mine for #1! I used your June sketch (second time in last couple of weeks) and I flipped it because of course my photo was wrong orientation!

Did a double page spread, but used Challenge #5 for left side (on both pages, really) and Challenge #2 on right-sided page. Took only one pic since uploading takes longer than the pages some days! Ha!
Busting through some VSBN pages today, with the dreaded page of only ONE picture the only one left for me to do. One is the loneliest number, you know...;)
I have been making a few pages in this size for my Simple Stories album I want to give to Tiny Tot. The page protectors will have many of the 4x6 and smaller sizes for her to add photos as her mommy prints them for her, or I will send some because mommy rarely prints photos.
I wanted to have a few of these bigger sheets for her in the album before I mail the album to her, knowing I can send more pages later as well.

Phew, at last...I made a 2 page LO. Here's the first page. It's of my son taking a friend to her Year 12 Ball in 2008. I thought I'd better cover up their faces as they may not be happy with me for sharing their photos on the net
It's a little too colourful and not how I intended it to be from the start but I'm in a mixed media play mood at present and decided I'd try some techniques out on my LO's. I'm sure my son will not realise how much time and techniques have gone into this LOL. I had fun and more importantly I made 2 pages...yay.
This page is for Challenge #1 - Variety A. I did have a sketch but ended up seeing a LO on the net and intended to follow that, but even that plan went awry.:(

Here's my take on the first challenge and my last to complete. Whew...I managed to make a page with only ONE picture. May never happen again...unless I get to feeling guilty that my other son doesn't have one of his own...grrrr. Ha!
Ladies, I did change my LO's (slightly). I went over some of the darker colour spots with gesso, used baby wipes and its now softer.
I also went around all the papers and edges with my black gelato pen to give them some definition. Unfortunately I got some on the gesso and after rubbing it in, it went muddy in parts. Oops.... All fixed and a couple of embellishments added to cover up any muddy spots LOL. I'm learning
