Title: CAS423 - April Showers
Hostess: Tricia
Keyword: CAS418
Week of Feb 27, 2017
Hello friends!! This week our theme is April Showers. Pull out your umbrella stamps, your flowers drenched in raindrops, your duckies playing in puddles, your watercolors, a baby or bridal shower card... the sky's the limit! (pun intended!!). You could even make a card for someone who has been "under the weather" this week, like I have been. UGGH. I can't wait to see the gallery!!
1. There is no deadline to play along with the CAS challenges.
2. Take all the time you need to finish and upload your card.
3. Upload your card to your gallery and link back to this thread so we all can see your project.
4. Please remember to put in the correct keyword CAS418 when uploading your image, a copy/paste of the keyword is recommended to avoid typos.
5. Please feel free to combine the CAS challenges with any other challenge.
The challenges are to provide inspiration and to get us stamping, so have fun and follow yourheART. We can't wait to see what you create!
This should have been a quick - easy card but turned into a series of trials & errors - still I did manage to salvage my base piece and make a usable card.

Here is my card for the , CAS423, April Showers, challenge. This is a typical spring scene here in WV. Thanks for the fun challenge, and thanks for looking.

I have made hundreds of cards and so many people say it has brought joy to their lives which, in turn, brings joy to my life. Almost everyone I give them to says that they always save me, which I consider a huge compliment.
Tricia, I'm sneaking my card into the CAS challenge. After all, it's CAS for me ;) Here's my card, Midnight Rain on Daisies. It's also for this week's TLC challenge.

I had to work all weekend and Monday, so I'm playing VSN on my day off...just a little behind the rest of the group. So, I thought these also fit nicely into this week's theme. The first is most certainly CAS the other is only because it was very simple to do.
Based on how much rain we got this week, I'd say Tricia made a good call on this week's challenge. Here's mine. I included some stamped water droplets on the watercolor background of my focal panel.
