Go Go Pokemon Go....
Note: Anyone is welcome to play! You automatically become a Teapotter the first time you play in our challenge. Also, you do not have to write a story. You just have to be inspired by the teapot or by the story about this week's location! Have fun! If this is your first Teapot Tuesday Challenge, please mention that in your commentary so we can be sure to greet you properly, in pure Teapot Tuesday fashion! Your participation in Destination Station is 100% voluntary and not at all required. Just have fun!
The Rest of the Story:
1: Have y'all got onto this Pokemon craze yet? I have seen some seriously silly antics by supposedly adult people things who are trying to catch another pokemon or hatch an egg. Yes, I said hatch an egg. Now seriously, who would think grown people things would run around like crazy people because they are trying to hatch an egg!!
2: It really has caught on with certain sets of people things and some of them are quite comical, but some of them are so serious it is a little scary. But it is a fun way to get out and get some exercise and sunshine. So it should come as no surprise that the sightings of Pokemon hunters has increased as the weather here in Texas heads towards summer. There are hordes of people things walking and running around looking down at their tech gadgets and trying to capture these elusive things and to avoid getting beaten to a pulp at the Pokemon gym. But the funniest ever is watching them trying to hatch their eggs! HaHa... they have to walk the required number of steps and then the egg will start to hatch and you can hear them cheering it on like a big time sporting event.
3: Then there are the lures. Ok, now these are right up a bling chicks alley, the lures consist of pink confetti flying around and around in a swirly fashion in an attempt to entice some unsuspecting Pokemon into the area to be more easily captured. However, one must be very careful when setting the lure because other Pokemon hunters are always lurking around and will try to capture the Pokemon before you do and then I can see an all out war happening can't you? So that is the problem facing Sandy Lou who is not the most agile or athletic people thing around. But she really does like to be in the "in" crowd and she needs to get into this Pokemon thing to be considered cool. So she figures if she can't chase them she'll lure them to her. So she has been gathering pink confetti and glitter and setting up lures right and left. And waiting on unsuspecting Pokemon to investigate. But since she is really not equipped to fight off other Pokemon hunting people things, she set her lures in some rather unconventional places and things aren't going well. There hasn't been much activity around her lures and she is getting disapointed.
4: So teapotters do any of you know how to attract some Pokemon to the lures faster?
Challenge Translation:
Happy cheerful and colorful cards are needed. Pokemon balls and eggs of all kinds are welcome here.
