I searched for new inspiration this week. Hoping to find a way to keep it simple, yet to inspire a few of you who do other things besides cards to join in too. (BTW: We have some amazing Bible Journalists on Splitcoaststampers.com.) So, I selected the Moleskine Pinterest Board which is full of inspiration of many kinds. I'm sure you'll be inspired to create beautiful card designs, or to journal, or to create something altogether new. I'm hoping that someone out there who has never actually created directly from an inspired image might discover the beauty of this challenge this week! I'm sure you'll enjoy it! It amazing to look at an image and then come up with your own unique and creative take on it! I bet you'll surprise, and delight, yourselves!
Challenge Goals:
Please don't be tempted to upload a card that you have made prior to this challenge, just because an image on the board reminds you of it. Rather, take the challenge of allowing your creative juices to flow based on your impressions when you look through the images. Remember, it can just be the color palette or style that ignites your creativity. Whatever draws you to the designs, take the challenge of doing something uniquely inspired today.
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many images to choose from, I've uploaded 10 of my favorites below. So just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. Click on the images below to see them bigger and to get their links on SCS. Don't forget to let us know which photo served as your inspiration piece please.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.
Wow, that is an amazing board! Even after I found my inspiration piece, I continued scrolling all the way to the bottom. Thanks for an awesome challenge, Audrie! HUGS!!
I've said it before and I'll say it again -- the Inspiration Challenge is my favorite one of the week. I loved the site you chose this week, Audrie. Here's my project:

It's a glorious Saturday morning! What a glorious IC this week, Audrie. I am gobsmacked by the Pinterest board. Hope to create later today. Happy playing all.

I had fun looking at all the amazing artwork- and decided to base my card on the lady in the mocha colored coat in the 4th panel down in the Vecka 47 creation. I went with some heart and vintage themed paper strips, and used double matting for my head shot of a lady with red hair (a great recycle bin find). Added some blurring/distressing to my fussy cut butterfly, and used 2 twines for my wrapped embellishment, with red bling peeking out near the ties. Here's Birthday Girl

Oh my word....I'm with Polly, I spent a LONG time going through the board and was super impressed by all the gorgeous art. I went with a more abstract piece to inspire a Bible Art Journal pageStained Glass Messenger
Just loved the vivid orange hues of this wonderful creation- and used a recycled nautical scene giftwrap panel for my card, adding some distressed panels, and a stamped and die cut sentiment panel. Finished with a bright yellow button. Here's Bright Sails
